@Shawn NHL I know you made this video a long time ago I play NHL 20 pro career as a goalie and I was wondering you were talking about you should have your goalie stand more than going into butterfly position and I was wondering when should you make your goalie go into butterfly position and what should I do about those fast pass shots like it's so hard to keep my eyes on on them. But those are the only questions I think you did a good job and you earned yourself a subscriber! If you can get back to me let me know that be amazing

Thanks for all the great tips, they were very helpful. What settings/ sliders do i adjust to get more shot variety from the AI because all i get against me are shots from the close slot. My teams will take shots from the point and from outside the slot if the have shooting lane but the opponent AI will only wait untill the get a shot from a couple feet in front of me. Do i need to adjust the difficulty or the gameplay setting such as arcade, full sim etc. i know this is a late comment but any help would be appreciated as i have tried almost everything i can think of but it hasnt worked.

But how do you make a goalie not suck if you have the cpu control it? Seems like every shot my cpu takes it goes in. Good thing I’m good on defense and they get about 2 shots on me so they only score 2 goals

After a save and a bad bounce my own defenders more often then not skate into me and push the puck in. Should I need with the sliders? Also when should you use R2 VS triangle? I don't understand why I rarely cover the puck after a bad bounce

Offensive categories are overrated. I dont believe offensive categories need to be maxed out. The only real category to worry about is balance, speed, acceleration and checking power. A truculence build with speed with crush offensive heavy builds. It’s hard to score if your on your back or injured. Best template to build a forward in my opinion is the dangler and on defense the defensive defenseman. That’s all I will say. I think my builds are an edge over these offensive build guys. If u have two defensive defenseman playing actual defense with checking power it would be very difficult to score. We have shut out teams with user goalies with 2 defensive defenseman playing. Check it out.

I’ve tried copying all of these builds and my stats don’t look any where near like yours. I’ve tried editing the boosts prior to height and weight but still didn’t work? Any thoughts? Maybe due to my level? I’m a p1 lvl4 thanks

i have a really good 5’10 185lbs dangler if you ever wanna try it out it’s actually an OP build because your pretty much jus as good as ur small guy but ur big enough to withstand sum hits and u can also hit people but still have that high speed and deking rate

How are you getting stats like -8 and +8 when the boosts dont effect that? I cant even get close it stops at plus or minus 5

how easy is it to find matches on this mode on next gen? I know for Fifa pro clubs it's not very populated on PS5 on the NA East servers

Hi mate might be little late to this video but I’ve come from FIFA Goalkeeper and this game has so much more efficiency and understanding of the position playing from the UK against US isn’t a Issue due a 1000 download and 500 upload and having aVPN set for USA, I’ve been playing this position for around 2 weeks and this video has really really improved my attention to detail and understanding to the position I’m looking forward to playing this in VFL competition situation more but for now I’m keeping my eye on more videos of tutorials you upload

Straight to the point. If you are looking to not get bumped off the puck so easy, focus on balance and strength. You have to sacrifice speed etc. there’s no way around it. It’s do or die so get high
