For me, Adults shouldn’t be fishing on Youth Day. If the sister was there catching fish then that’s the whole point. You don’t need to be targeting fish next to her. Just enjoy her fishing then. None of my family members actively fish their own rod on Youth Day.

Yea the PA boat commission should change the law so ONLY the youth can fish on youth day. I could care less about stockers, don’t even live in PA, but I still believe an adult shouldn’t be pounding fish on youth day

It’s mentored youth day because I’m mentioning her by helping her and teaching when she needs it and passing time catching dink stocked trout when she doesn’t, all of which are being released (tbh not very well lol) I only went out of my way to catch the goldens on opening

The part of the fun is if the kids don't catch anything they can still see fish being caught and some assistance to hook one !! F'n Karen's!! SMH !! Keep taking her !! And fish yourself as well !!

First off this lady was yelling saying both of us couldn’t fish. How am I wrong if I’m completely legally fishing and taking my sister fishing and having a good time catching fish together. The law isn’t magically what you would like it to be. It’s not a “loophole” it’s what the commission says is allowed. Only dink trout were caught during mentored youth day anyway, not a big deal

Personally I’ve kept on a lot of fish doing that lol, these reels have been destroyed and the drag is terrible. I was also constantly tightening and loosening my drag during the fight cause it’s a super tiny hook and I can’t reel in line with the amount of drag needed for the fish to run without pulling
