I was at this taping. The whole “date to be specified” joke was a reference to that fact that the previous guest that night, Don Rickles was allowed to run long, so Sonya was bumped from her scheduled show. They shot her interview afterwards, and it didn’t have a scheduled date as to when it would air yet, and thus, “date to be specified” was really just a joke for the in person audience.
