This is a terrific video! I will borrow and give reference to the “ holy moly” strap! 🤣. Question… I noticed you put your paddle through the far deck line, but not the near deck line… I’ve always been hard to put it through both (greater stability?)… thoughts? Ps… self rescues past weekend with my Cetus fully loaded (65lbs)… I want to do the one arm lift to empty and flip… nope nope nope 🤣. You might wanna put in your comments said it’s important to practice how you’re going to paddle that extra weight was impossible to move. Keep up the great work! 😊👍

Looks like this will suffice for my needs. Performance in sand was a bit underwhelming, but i mainly need this for roads and trails.

Is it possible to mount these Kajak Sport clamps onto the track system of a fishing SOT. Specifically the SlideTrax system.

Thanks. In talking about "fetch" you define it in at least two ways in this video. Starting out, you say it's the distance wind has to travel across a stretch of water. At 4:48 or so, you start describing fetch as the point on land where the wind lands to create waves. Which is it, please? Thank you.

Newbie question from someone who will be coming into their first kayaking winter (sit in around the Gippsland Lakes) - am I correct in thinking that the recommendation would be for the sleeveless wetsuit on your website + fleece top (plan on wearing my Adrenal thermal rashie under it) + cag + wool socks rather than investing in a dry suit at this stage?

I have been thinking about buying this jacket to pair it with my Palm Atom pants for winter sessions but also to train my roll, is it realistic? The neck is not fully dry but for the roll training sessions, maybe I could but some type of light neoprene top layer underneath that could suck in the small amount of water entering though the neck gasket.
