Had to stop about 3/4 of the way through. The constant moving camera made me sick and dizzy. Repetitive music is annoying. Beautiful scenery and lovely ladies. I mean no offense. Happy to watch your videos if you can stop the constant camera moving. Turn the music off or at least the volume way down .

angel gt 2 warms up way faster than this damn tire. I put this on thinking it will be even better than the GT soon as i take off. The bike was like SIKE better wait another 20 mins. Angel GT 1 and 2 is way more stable on 40-50 degree weather

I ride a z900 as well , wondering if you stuck with the 180/55/17 or went with the 190? I know the z has a 5.5 inch wide rear wheel so could you run the 190 to get the benefit of the 5 compounds?

My 23 MT10 came with BStone S22 which I truly loved but the rear was gone at 600miles to the wear bars including break in! (all twisties) I wrongly squeezed 300 more miles out of the rear trying to do 1000miles which was hopelss and there is like NOTHING left of the tire now off the bike (yes I kept the thing as a conversation piece lol) it is just a floppy thin carcase with virtually no meat left! Amazed ut supported tge bike ar speed! I can not believe I risked those final miles it was that stupid! Anyways I finally replaced just the rear with a new pirelli diablo rosso 4 and it worked great with the OEM S22 fron at factory recommended 42/36 even! ! no problem so at 1500miles when the s22 front was finally ALSO toast (looks like a KNIFE blade or wedge now bald on the sides but could likely go thousands more miles on a straight highway.without many turns...wierd huh? Again this was ALL twisties wear) Okay so at 1500 miles on this new bike I now also replaced the front with the same rosso 4 pirelli diablo tire. Immediately The bike feels weird to me and not flingable confidence inspriting like the S22 front WAS ...Thi front tire is significantly taller profile (rear tii irugubakk Im sure) so I tried raising the forks in the tree 5mm (middle line) (dropping front 5mm) and that did seem to help some/ a little....then it rained and rained and rained so I have not been back out. BUT I found a pirelli chart that says these tires ought to be run at WAY lower psi than Yamaha had me running the S22s which was 36 front and 42 rear...Pirelli says the front s/b like mid 20s PSI cant recall now! 25 psi? idk So maybe it is simple as too high pressure? When it dries out some more I will try em several psi lower than "normal" Maybe Ill start wirh 36 rear and 28 front and just see if that helps? Anyone have similar experience? My friend with a z900 HATED the Rosso 4 tires had but I dont know WHICH Rossos he meant...he replaced em "before they were half worn out" said hw xouls not trust em? But are all the variants of Rossos even similar to each other at all?

I love the R7 almost as much as the R6 but it is not a completely new bike. It is an MT07 with plastics and some other very minor mods. It has a lot of recycled parts from other bikes. There is nothing wrong with that, it just is not a 'completely new bike' as this person said.

Great review and thanks for the 411 on these, I'm trying to decide between these the S22's, and the Power 5's for my next set.
@dougiequick19 ай бұрын
I loved the S22s that came on my MT10 but they only lasted 600 rear and 1500 front. Then I mounted these same rosso 4s the rear was great while I fiished off the s22 front but when I finally put new rosso front on? Vague handling not flickable like the S22 front had been....but i read pirelli says much lower PSI that the Bstone AND they are taller profile so when it finally dries out here I will test with forks raised 5mm and PSI dropped way down (like from manuals 42/36 to maybe 38 rear? and 30 front? or less? Maybe that is all it is idk but so far? no good

Thanks for the high quality review. I'm switching from the Supercorsa SP to the Rosso 4s, and immediately started regretting the choice after placing the order yesterday. But this video puts my mind at ease a bit when you're saying you can still ride on these at full lean and acceleration. I need a lot of grip for aggressive canyons and twisties, and even slipped for a milisecond here or there on the Supercorsas at full lean, so I have been really concerned about sacrificing grip. But the drive to the mountains on soft tires has been burning a hole in my wallet, as all of my Supercorsas have only gotten around 2200-2500 miles. Excited to try these out. I was about to switch my order, but I think I'll give these a try after all.

Time for a trailer? lol It seems so odd though to trailer a street legal bike...But I used to do it with my KTM 690 enduro cause the freeways not only destroyed the DOT knobbies but also were quite squirrelly (scarey!) on the freeway rain grooves! Not a trailer but a bumper rack actually...I dont laugh anymore at folks trailering their bikes to the place they want to ride it...I get it totally now

Have you ridden them? Are you happy with them 6 months later?
@joeyhiben71773 ай бұрын
@@surflife247 I'm actually not happy with them. I could feel it start to slip when I was leaning around switchbacks and hairpins. Thought I was just being paranoid. Took it to a very very familiar track and low sided when the same speed and lean angle wouldn't have with the super corsas. I'm not saying my ability is beyond the tire, I'm saying the tire isn't grippy enough for my current ability. I'll probably just keep them until they're worn, riding nice and tame, and then go back to the super corsas next. Good street tire, not so good for aggressive riding.
@joeyhiben71773 ай бұрын
@@dougiequick1 It might be time. I don't like the Rosso IV. Low sided when I don't think I would have with the super corsas. Hopefully I can rig a trailer onto my Subaru legacy.

@@joeyhiben7177 so I am in Florida and 120-135/140mph bends are more of what I’m doing. Lean angle about 40-50 on that bend (not dragging knee) entry around say 100 and progressive through the bend. I got this confidence while riding a corsa 4 (by the way check that sticky fucker out you will get more miles that the super corsa but the sides of the corsa 4 are carbon black and the middle of the tire is what the sides of the rosso 4 ) Now I’m concerned about going to the rosso4s because I have come to know a level of grip and a slip at my speeds on the road is death. Do you think this tire is gonna handle my riding? I’m thinking of staying with the corsa4 cause “why take a chance” and “why hold back in fear” I think I’m just to aggressive and it is what it is and we are where we are… and that is that my enjoyment comes with a hefty price tag

Excellent video!!! I plan on moving to Thailand in the near future and Ive been wanting to purchase a sport bike once there however i was hesitant because I wasn't able to really carry much (like groceries )so I was considering GoldWings reluctantly and even scooters ☹️. These saddle bags look awesome and go with any color bike and would work perfectly for my needs. Thanks for sharing and I love your new bike! ... Stay safe and again thanks for the knowledge!

Something should be made clear. Men are never "intimidated" by a woman. We are disgusted by your masculine tendencies. Imagine being a professional at something, wanting to impart knowledge that people would pay money for and your ungrateful, has to prove girl's rule wife, is telling you to shelve your wealth of knowledge. Echo chambers like these are where true women go to die, no wonder this channel never took off, you all are clueless.

Fyi - the 180/60 (standard fitment on the Streetfighter V2) is a dual compound tyre as well. As a comparison, I had Michelin Road 5s on my Street Triple & they were by far the best tyre I've ridden on in the wet, as well as being very grippy & confidence inspiring in the dry. I find the Rosso IVs on the Streetfighter don't give the same level of feedback & the tip in is very non-linear. You get to a point where you're getting close(ish) to the edge of the tyre & then it tends to just fall into the turn - whereas the Road 5 tip in was linear all the way to the edge. The "fall in" on the Rosso IV could be a product of the 60 profile, but I don't know because I haven't tried a 50 or 55 Rosso IV for comparison.
@saifaldin_ Жыл бұрын
That’s Pirelli for you.. 😅 that aggressive V shape does require a different approach ride. Fast turn in, and hold… not so comfortable for slower manoeuvres (although i do like it for my Daytona) Michelins tend to be very round - harder to tip in, but very linear. Bridgestone, I feel is somewhere in between those two.

very insightful. A little Too much pride. Sounds a little issue with the masculine sex. (or do you proceed like that with u woman friends too?) Dont get me wrong, youre cool and CONSCIOUS cause you told him how you feel about it and how he has to proceed to deal with your "issue/characteristic". I dated a girl which got mad and dont tell so you try to help, she get mad, she dont tell then later she get passive agressive. It looks like zero gratitude. It ended bad, sadly. At the end of the day we need to know how to deal with our own issues cause nobody comes with a "owner manual" so we can read, learn and lend to our companion. ps: What a great channel you ladies have. Best rosso 4 review ive seen! thnx for the tips and hints greetings from brasil

BEST REVIEW of Regular Rosso 4 so far! what about the carcass? I HATED rosso 3 hard carcass, its HARD and get too "jumpy" in bad roads. I like more the rosso 2 and the Rosso corsa 2 or the Supercorsa sc3 feeling which has a SOFT carcass that cope bad roads, giving more surface area, more stability, more CONFORT since it provide WAY LESS UNECESSARY FEEDBACK than rosso 3 and off course, GIVE BETTER GRIP.

Best tire review I've ever checked out -- uniquely, great visuals, personal insights and experience, and technical stuff like "thermal profile" (most reviewers read the press release and not much more)--thanks! keep it up. Subscribing. I ran rosso 3's on my Tuono and they blew my mind, they were so good, particularly in turns. Then I replaced the front with a rosso IV and it was 10 times better than the 3! which blew my mind again--these tires are just BEGGING for extreme lean angles, urging you to push it, effortless response. Remarkable. Putting a IV on the back next week.

How long have you been riding? I have a rs660 and I have a corsa on the back right now cause I got a screw in my rosso 4. I take big bending sweeps at 120-134/140 (entry around a hundred the progress through the turn) idk if the rosso 4s will hold cause I kind of grew my confidence while the corsa was on there (only got a corsa by accident and just said fuck it) anyway do you think they will hold that? My lean at those speeds is 40-50 degrees thanks in advance
