Get a hagemeister single wire alternator family owned company out of bend Oregon bought one for my first Gen from them they have built in regulators waaaaay better then the stock 1st Gen ones gets rid of the problems with communicating from the crank sensor to the pcm and then to the altenator all that crap. It’s the only way to go.
