Nice to have you back in the UK making nice videos about our landscape and heritage. There's certainly enough scenery and country houses open to the public here to keep you busy for a lifetime! Even the smaller houses in the area like the National Trust's Hinton Ampner at Alresford, with less impressive historical connections, are quite delightful to explore 🙂

Hi there, I went to your KZbin channel, I like the videos but I see the subscribe and views are very low and monetization is not done, I found some problems in the channel, if you solve them and SEO the videos, the subscribe and views will increase and can be monetized. I'm a KZbin expert, can do something about it I am waiting for your response. Thank you

Did they ask you for the yellow fever vaccine on arrival?
@CoolTrips101Ай бұрын
Yellow fever vaccination card (it's a yellow card) was in the passport when handed to the immigration agent. He looked at it. Not sure what would have happened if we didn't have it. The harder part was doing the visa at arrivals. Agent wanted physical copies of return flights and hotels reservations. And then kept those... so bring printed copies of that material, and extras if you want to keep the paperwork yourself.

As kids we used to play around that area looking for the Roman forts, we never found anything but we enjoyed every minute
@michaelriordan82653 ай бұрын
It's a shame that you didn't go down Deansgate and visited the John Rylands library I think you'd enjoy that, one place I'd advise against going to is the Piccadilly gardens and the surrounding areas where it's full of spice heads, you didn't get down to the Castlefield area either nor the northern quarter, and of course you missed out on going to old Trafford, hope you come back.
@CoolTrips101Ай бұрын
Manchester ended up being several short videos so got a couple more things on the next video. We saw John Rylands Library (excellent!) and Castlefield (Roman reconstructed gate), missed old Trafford (sad) and several museums... want to see more next time. Thanks

Next time spend some quality time in my favourite area , Bavaria. There is so much to see .. forget Munich but explore the towns and villages .. visit Germany’s highest mountain , Zugspitz .. getting to the top by cog wheel railway around and through the mountain … visit Fussen , towns on the romantic road , etc .. We drive 3000 kms from The Rock of Gibraltar once or twice a year …Enjoy your vacation 😉

Wow! Nice observation. A friend who has been on several golf trips and knows the Pinehurst area well. We've both played Pine Dunes several times near Palestine/Tyler TX. Good course on sandy soil. So it has roots like Pinehurst, Bandon, Sand Valley. You're lucky if you get to play there often!

Great golf tip for you, which'll knock a dozen or more off your handicap. (Only works if you play using a golf buggy, though) 1) Always tee-off FIRST before your play-mates. Don't worry too much about the shot - just hit it so it makes the dog-leg. 2) DON'T wait for them to tee off, but instead run and jump into your buggy, and beetle off to _your_ ball whilst they're still poncing about, addressing the ball and gauging the wind. 3) When you've found your ball, and before the others arrive, BOOT your ball onto the fairway ..for as favorable a lie as is available. 4) Then whack your second shot at the tee. Don't fuss, just hit it. 5) Back in the buggy - drive across the green, if necessary, to get to your ball asap. 6) If you ball _isn't_ within 4 feet of the hole, then pick it up, and toss it toward the hole. Do it again, if it lands outside of say, 10 feet from the cup. 7) Additionally, if one of the other players makes the green, then quickly pick up _his_ ball, and lob it into the bunker. It just makes things _more fun!_ 8) Once the others make the green, and survey their putts or chips, then just pick your ball up and claim a 'gimme'. Tell 'em it's OK, coz your putter's 'in the shop' No problem. These are all legitimate golf actions. I know, I read it ...somewhere. 'The Art of the Deal' I think it was.
