The Latvian language itself isnt that old at all. In fact, Latvian (Lettish) started as a dialect from Lithuanian. There are so many older close languages to Latvian (Curonian, Semigalian, Selonian) but the closest oldest language to Latvian was Latgalian, that existed almost as long as Lithuanian.

Albanian has something very unique that makes them oldest Europe language ! Albanian translated all biblical , elements of importance , ancient Gods and many basic things as once life was very basic , don’t wait the oldest language to have word such “computer” , Albanian is oldest becouse gheg and tosc as two unite language Albanian branch with origin from gheg have the majesty to translate all the most important word as I mention since life beginning ! Gjarpri (gja+ pri) smth that rules or lead and from word gj=something mean word gjaku (blood) Zoti (your voice ) or God Je Zeus Cristu( je zot kri isht) meaning you are god you’re the ruler or leader ! Alban or arben (mean smth bright or white ) similiar to sun or sol invictus! Diell (sun) Albanian 7 day is called diell (Sunday ) and diell comes from (know + star ) di=know/knowledge and ill (yll) is the star (even yllirian star in Albanian two head of eagle of scanderbeg old stem) Alexander (is born by the dream ) Uji (water ) in Albanian comes from two basic you and me two elements as well make H20 important elements for water ! Deti (meaning sea) and in Albania de + ti ( mean De=dehem=seasick from sea and ti=you) Ti = you = ti i or ni mean the first ‘ Latin takes the te/ti from yllrian mean the first you ! Names such biblical PIETER (pi+eter) from the fathers meaning man was created from the stone or ground and this comes word Peter or Pietra (ston) ! Era (mean wind in Albania ) as new era or new wind (referring to Zeus as well) ZJARR (pronounced Ziarn(similiar to fire) Mean Zi=boiling and ar=gold ! And more and more very old important word that now I am very tired to type on my pc … So Albanian has the life secret in it Like example they have GOAT (Zot) pronounced same as god and Albanian called Goat (DHIA) meaning in Albanian (knowledge) and Amathia( mean my goat) a ma (amja-emja meaning my in English ) So too much coincidences but this is truth ! Truth = vertet in Albanian comes from Ver +tet (meaning put your father ) as the pray father son and Holy Spirit ! Spirit (shpirt) Albanian comes from two (shpi=home and ti =you) so spiritus is home of your spirit in you, other is Shpirti(spirit) from (shpi=shpie= bring to you so both meaning ) And this is life people ‘ Ajer=air and in Albania word Ajer(air) comes from gheg Albanian Ajer = a ere(meaning is wind ) a=is (pronounced as AA) Ere proncuned ER) German for Albanian are called as ALEMAGNE (meaning are born and can handle it ) so meaning are very brave! A + LE + MANJE (is born and can handle) Only Albanian can have LE(or LEVA) meaning born as proces of life ! BABI in Albanian comes from (ba= do and bi=bija = child or doughters) Pussy (in Albania mean black hole or the hole in the ground to put water ) Albanian word for pussy is “paidhi” meaning “see the knowledge “ or do it similiar to word of goat into it (dhi-dhia) for this infinity as a circular represent both word ! So all this most important things of life has Albanian mostly Albania gheg dialect meaning ! Let’s say word VAMPIR Albania say it as DHAMPIR (dham=teeth and pir(pirë) mean drink ) so they suck blood from teeth… Believe me albanian are on top 2 or securely oldest in Europë language !

Grover S. Krantz: The Hungarians are the progenitors of European civilization Grover S. Krantz (1931-2002), a world-renowned American anthropologist and professor at Washington State University, in his work "The Geographical Formation of European Languages", recognizes Hungarian, which until now has been treated as a stepchild of Europe, as the founder of Europe's civilization. According to him, the u.n. "Indo-European languages" developed very late in Europe. That is why 30% of their vocabulary is not of "Indo-European" origin, and there are no "Indo-European" river names on the early maps of Europe. We are more interested in the following sentence: "...so the Greek language was formed in its current location in 6500 BC, and the Celtic language in Ireland in 3500 BC. The antiquity of the Hungarian language in the Carpathian Basin is similarly surprising; I find that its origins lead to the Mesolithic, preceding the Stone Age." Furthermore: "At least on one important point, the theory of people's migration is the opposite of the previous theorem. It is generally believed that the Hungarians of the Urals lived in the 9th century. century, they moved into the Carpathian basin from an eastern area. I find that all groups speaking the Uralic language spread from Hungary, in a much earlier age, in the opposite direction." Grover S. Krantz, The Geographical Formation of European Languages. well, when she says "5 euros per kilometer", that's obvously english and now I'm gonna get attacked from albanians claiming to be te oldestt of people and whatnot.. When were the oldest writings in Albanian, 5000yrs BCE?just mountain tribes that kept their languagesand different dialects because the Romns didn't bother to go there, the same as the Wallachians, but with no written history, and the all jst adopted Islam seeing that life is better under the Turks being muslims..Same way that the Serbs from Bosnia adoped islam and are now a different people, same language as the others, though.. Nevertheless, I find them sounding fascinating and did Latvian have influence from Finnish and Estonian? Because there is something really Uralic in that language.. But, hey, What about the Celtic languages. Celtic languages were spoken from Anatolia to Britain, during the Bronze age, and 5 still survive? and what about the Basque language..? Did Litihuanins come from the Eurasian steppes, like the Slavs, because they are categorized as the Balto-Slavic branch or were they always there, because, that doesn't make them the oldest language in Europe, since even, idk, Spannish came to be from Vulgar Latin and evolved, so maybe it's not as old because it was standardised later...Or was Litihuanian standardized earlier so it's considerred older? By being Balto-Slavic,I find that that's why it has a hunch of Sanskrit in it, but also, Latin sounding words could be heard.. Great languages.. I wish I would know them all, they all soundvery interesting. I would lov to pickup, at least learn a little bit of some old languages, like Albanian, (modern) Greek (because I don't know with whom to talk old-Greek) or Sanskrit.. I'd definitely like to learn Albanian but Albanian nationalism kinda makes me weary of it.. They claim that everything is theirs, if you go to quora, it's crazy
