I had the noise problem with my dryer, but my problem was there was a piece of tissue paper stuck in blowing fan.

I can’t get the thing off to expose the drip tray. Any tips
@NashwaukSteve6 күн бұрын
Yeah, you need to remove those two 5/16 (I think) hex head screws that are in the vertical slots. Then the top black piece should lift up and off the two white tabs. That should get you in there. The drip tray itself has two tabs that need to be squeezed toward the middle to release the tray so it can slide out. Good luck!

Thanks for making this video Steve. I'll bet this is a common issue. I just had this dishwasher installed 6 months ago and had the same code flagging problem. Your video was quick, yet thorough, & helped me KO the issue in a couple minutes. Thanks again or posting this.

Had this error code on a 1 1/2 year old dishwasher. I put it up in milk crates and discovered it has a pin hole in the stainless steel body on the bottom. This is a whirlpool problem at the factory, at least in my experience .

Does the antifreeze need to be safe for metal and internal combustion or any antifreeze is ok?
@NashwaukSteve14 күн бұрын
Hello! Regular RV antifreeze (pink) is fine. I think most contain some sort of corrosion inhibitor as well, so no problem for metal.

Hey Steve great video. Watched it through and have one question. The hose that's coming out of the skis engine compartment goes into where exactly? I have the same 2 skis but they don't have a hose like that
@NashwaukSteve14 күн бұрын
Hello, I sold those two wave runners this spring so I can’t go look. I feel like it came in somewhere on the lower part of the engine… I wish I could give you better info!

Hey I own an Indy 500 swapped trailblazer quad. I was wondering if these have crankcase oil and if so how do you check and change it?
@NashwaukSteve14 күн бұрын
Hello! So I’m not totally sure about your quad. Mine is a Honda and it doesn’t have a chaincase anywhere, but each gear differential (front and rear) has an oil pool that the gears spin in. Each should just have a cap on it and you fill it until the oil starts overflowing out the fill hole. That’s about all I know there. God bless!

Can’t you just cut the wires at the trim senders and splice them? This would be after verifying the pass through wires are good.
@NashwaukSteve14 күн бұрын
Hello, yes, technically you could do that. I’ve read that the longevity of that fix isn’t very good, just because a splice behind the transom would be wet often. Perhaps with some nice tight heat shrink tubing, it would hold up?? Good luck either way, my friend!

man i was confused, the GE fridge i'm dealing with has much thinner and has a half drawer compartment that I fit stuff in but next time I opened it there were icecubes ontop of my things. I'm surprised how much real-estate they use for this icecube drawer.

Hey question. Did you have a blinking green light? When I do the factory, reset my icemaker will make ice, but it won’t dispense it. Light will stay green until it’s time to dispense then blinks green letting me know there is an issue.
@NashwaukSteveАй бұрын
Hey there- yours must be slightly different than mine. I had no green light at all. The only light was on the ice maker power button in the door jamb. It was white. Best of luck getting it working again. It’s no fun!

Tie a string around cord end to pull it through the upper cabinet hole, if u are alone! I put a sturdy box on the old metal plate, over the stove, to hold the microwave up higher. Put a towel under the metal plate to orotect stove top. Then I may prop it up higher with books, to reach the correct heighth, so it can be screwed in while resting on box.

My old boiler looks similar to this one, and it's leaking slowly today. I wasn't sure if I could just replace the valve as I did on other water lines since the drain valve is attached directly to the hot boiler. Thank you for the video and now I can replace it the way you did with confidence!

Watching a number of these broken cable videos lead me to believe these are fatigue failures. Many flexes cause the cable to crack. Solution: engage the cable only once per day. If you come to a place where you would stop the blades from turning (loose rocks, etc.), just leave them turn and raise the deck to clear instead.

August 2024. Just bought a brand new one of the same model. NOTE: have a small torx driver handy. The screw on Steve’s junction box was Phillips head, but mine was torx. And I had to initially break it loose with a wrench to keep from stripping it.
