Oh it definitely looks like a lot! If you fill that van to the ceiling you're gonna blow your axle!

I’m 46 I got very good memories of going out with my grandad on horse and cart and then a flat back scrapping early till late 80s around Notting Hill and London . Leaving 5 am on a sat n sun pack lunch in one hand little club hammer in the other to smash taps off the iron baths and break up the old iron guttering . Man I miss him 😞. You don’t realise when living the best years of your life. Prices was good in them days the flat back would be stacked high with copper iron lead …. Going to different scrap yards to off load certain bits, and given my little wages prob £20 but to a 7 year old that’s a lot . Good luck to you all the best Im a new sub 👍🏼

Is it worth doing with a small van ?
@scrapmanColin17 күн бұрын
It's worth doing but a big van makes it easier & you can't always get a big van in tight spices and there's not always room to turn a big van round round

Which brainwave sactioned these ideas? I'd love to know how much fly tipping actually costs each local council per year. You'd be forgiven for thinking we'd lost WW11!

Nice, dude. I'm working on a '46 Willys with a 12V conversion and have been chasing gremlins. My solenoid was grounded out and sending 12V everywhere. I didn't know these needed to be grounded, though!

I really appreciate your informative videos Colin - thank you! I'm keen to start scrap trading business. Could you please offer some guidance on finding reliable suppliers and especially on how to secure favorable deals? Additionally, do you have any suggestions for conducting independent inspections prior to making purchases?
