Dr. Fotinos speaks the truth about lack of hormones causing so many issues as women go towards menopause. If only our Dr's could get this education so there wouldn't be so much unnecessary suffering. Estradiol patch and micronized bio identical progesterone (all HRT) needs to be discussed way more in Dr's offices. Hope to see him on more podcasts. ❤ Thank you!

Excellent conversation! The problem with fanatics is that there is no grey zone. All is black or white - with super high convictions. Two concerns I have: The claim is made that low testosterone reduces life span. Is it truly low testosterone that is the cause, or is it the underlying conditions (e. g. obesity, endothelial inflammation) that cause reduced testosterone? Also, kids in their twenties get away with horrible lifestyle, diet, and sleep and still feel great. The argument that because 20-year-olds have high testosterone and DHT levels and still don't get (prostate) cancer is completely flawed. It is not because of their high levels but their young age.

Neil is definitely a biologist. The more attractive model goes to Stephen wolfram in my opinion. There is a good old story about practicing all kinds of spiritual practices. It is similar to look at moon, while it is somewhat useful to look at the finger pointing to the moon for you, it is way more advanced if you see the moon yourself. Unfortunately Neil doesn't appear to have the luck in this life cycle to experience, analyze and understand that

Great talk. Try different macros and different foods to find what feels good. And don’t be afraid of shifting when your baseline status changes. Example: A ‘diet’ that works well to lose weight might have you feeling really off when you reach a much lower BF%.

One other comment, my Omic test gave me an A1C estimate of 6.5. I test twice a year, and in the last year I had a 4.8, and 5.1. ( blood test )

The problem with Duniden Pace is that it fluctuates wildly. I’ve been .63 and 1.1. My blood tests are consistently good

Here's the thing though: It's not actually healthy to accept everything. It's actually utterly selfish because you're favoring your own state over the conditions of all others.

I feel like I’m having a trauma sweat I feel so hot and it’s so uncomfortable. Trauma sweats make hot flashes look like a walk in the snow storm. Any kind being who reads this who would send me uplifting energy to help reinforce my life worse I would greatly appreciate it. I don’t want to just struggle and suffer I need to find out why I’m still here or I need to leave.

34:05-I know I’m late to the party, but the devices that Dr. Zubkov mentioned are called powerline adapters. Powerline adapters work by routing your Internet signal through the electrical wiring in your home, rather than over Wi-Fi. The adapters (you need at least two) plug into your wall sockets and use Ethernet cables to connect to your router at one end and your device (e.g., laptop, smart TV, game console) at the other. Lastly, apart from the health benefits, these signals will be much stronger and stable than standard Wi-Fi, as powerline technology is not susceptible to signal loss due to barriers like walls.

I noticed in this podcast and the one with Dr. Seger about cholesterol, palm kernel oil was not mentioned as a "hidden" source of SF. It is roughly 85%, the same as coconut oil, but is found in far more packaged foods.
