For the tincture did you add the cord after you made it into a powder? And what was the liquid from the little bottle that you poured in?
@lifewithdaric3137 ай бұрын
I don’t add the cord. I usually make it in to a heart and leave it with the mom as a keepsake! The liquid was Tito’s vodka to preserve the placenta powder and the nutrients and hormones. 😌

Definitely a learning experience! I would say though if someone filmed and talked about my birth experience without my consent, I would lose my shit. Always get releases first and discuss with the family whose story you’re telling ❤ birth is an incredibly personal experience, and I’m glad the client consented after the fact but she might have felt pressured because you had already put in all the work editing and whatnot. You always want to get that in advance instead. Best of luck with your future births!

I definitely agree! I learned a lot especially since I’m not a mom myself yet. I understood where they were coming from I just didn’t like how they handled it and I felt like there was no compassion. Glad I went through it and I can she my experience! Thank you so much!

I really appreciate you sharing your story . I found this video by watching your combing out locs video (also considering as well). When you said you went through training , did you pay for individual classes? I want to be a doula as well and I guess I hadn’t researched the process as much as I thought. Anymore insight you have on your process would be much appreciated!
@lifewithdaric313 Жыл бұрын
I appreciate you for watching! I took a Birth Doula training through a doula training company. I’m also took a childbirth education course and placenta encapsulation as well. There are plenty of companies with different types of training so I would say just do what feels right. I will definitely share more about my doula journey.

Hi there 💕💕💕💕💕Did you not realize how much hair you would loose, I don’t remember seeing a picture of how short it was before. 🌹🌹🌹But 2 yrs is along time. Alll that hair on floor is in Saine . I learn from you what not to Do…….. 👋yes it’s your hair, and it is your hair on the floor, almost the same amount. You should try another method for Locs. I have Faux Locs, First I corn roll your hair, then you use a Crochet needle to lock in your hair. 1 ,2, 3, Most weeks for me is 10wks. Clean scalp. Use warm oils on the scalp and hair, No hair will come out, Looking pretty should not entail that you loose what you are trying to Obtain. The hair dresser was kind, when you wash, more likely more hair came out, and she needed to give a really cut not trim. A good even Cut. Try the Faux Locs, you won’t loose Soooooo much hair. Good luck Next time! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️
@lifewithdaric313 Жыл бұрын
I pretty much knew I would lose a lot of hair when I made the decision. I did a lot of research beforehand. If I would’ve had my locs for much longer I probably wouldn’t have combed them out. But I’m super happy with my decision because my hair is still very full and healthy. I keep my hair in protective styles in it’s loose natural state. 😊❤
@yamoo14 Жыл бұрын
most of the hair that is loss is hair that we shed everyday but with locs it keeps all that shedded hair in the loc. So when it’s combed out that’s what you mostly see.

what's your progress? I'm assuming yours are thin. Any suggestions for thinner locs? I'm about to comb out mines and some are really thin.
@denisewilliams9987 Жыл бұрын
@@angelaconley776 I procrastinated so took me 8 days. I had a bowl of water with leave in condition and had to soak each loc strand I combed the ends and worked my way up. sometimes I used a tac to try to unravel the ends in the beginning then used the ends of a rat tail comb, then the small teeth of the comb. be careful with the tac can knick your fingers. and I also had to soak the locs in between combing to soften it. It really took patience. after I comb out say 5 or 6 I then combed them out very well then put them into a twist and out of the way. If you have interlock combing it out and getting rid of the knots with be hard. Good luck
