Thank you for uploading all of these Rush videos from 1974. They're absolutely incredible. I'm currently 33 years old so I wasn't even thought of back then, but thankfully I grew up with my mother who has forged my taste in music, Led Zeppelin, Small Faces, Cream, Rolling Stones, BB King and so on. My biggest and deepest regret when it comes to music is not seeing Rush live. When Rush did their final gig in 2015, I hate to admit but I wasn't even a fan back then, I never really heard them or possibly shrugged them off as I was more obsessed with aggressive metal. I blame my Scandinavian friends for that one haha! But it wasn't until I heard of Neil's passing is when they struck the chord. I'm kind of mad at younger self for not embracing them earlier, but hey you can't turn back the clock. I'm just thankful I live in a time period where Rush did exist. I have actually improved so much more on guitar (and some bass) thanks to religiously listening to Rush, nowhere near perfect and I don't really play for others just purely for my own self satisfaction. I've just finished Geddy Lee's "My Effin' Life". I can only say that Geddy & Rush are my biggest inspiration. I feel like I can related to them in many ways, and like many people would give almost anything to have sat down with all 3 of them and listened to their stories. From comments I've read on KZbin and even on video, they're quite possibly the most down to earth respectful band. Apologies for the massive wall of text, but thank you again! These videos really are great to have around.

Klasse Band ...

Loved that 1st album from the first day I heard it back in 74. Just old-fashioned kickass rock & roll! To this day I still think and believe Rush with Rutsey, if they had continued playing kickass rock like on the debut album and not venture the prog road as they did with Peart, would still have been a big time rock band. We can only wonder! RIP Rutsey and Peart!

Clem burke although a brilliant drummer at this point, he was just over the top with fills, eventually I think the band had to tell him to think of the overall sound and chill.
