First of all, there is nothing called time. And the perceived time (invented by man) wouldn’t stop at the speed of light.(around 3,00,000 km/sec.) For example, hypothetically, if earth revolves around the Sun at speed of light (photons) whatever the time taken (the distance covered for one revolution from a given point, whether few seconds or minutes or hours) can be considered as an year (not 365 1/4th days). If what Neil says is true then having seen this photon today, what photon will I see tomorrow? If an object is speeding away from me at the speed of light then a photon will be emitted back towards me. Since time has stopped for the object, because of its speed, then only one photon will be emitted. A 2nd photon, a moment later, will not exist because no time will have passed. When I 'see' this object, the photon will have been adsorbed by my retina and ceased to exist. But tomorrow I will look at the same object again and see that time for it has not passed. Am I seeing the same photon, again?

Correct me if I am wrong, but the only people that have spoken of near death experiences are people who 'came back' to tell the tale, ie they did not die and are still alive. BUT....hugely moved by the experience to the point they could imagine such wonderful things. I know I'd be very happy to survive such an experience.
