A beautiful evensong to celebrate Palm Sunday, 7 days prior to Easter Sunday The aesthetics of this church & service are truly sublime At 55.00 we witness the most sacred Anglo-Catholic sacrament of the altar - a truly golden spectacle set against the wonderful altar with the beautiful 7-candelabra on either side. This is ritual ceremony at its most sublime which today’s reformed Catholic Church has forsaken in favour of dull banality.

I haven't heard this settting of the Angelus for 55 years! We used to sing it at the end of Mass at the Annunciation Chislehurst when I was a teenager in the choir there.
