Whilst he is a very talented at what he does, I just feel the drops are always flat. Maybe its the music he plays

PLEASE Bring back the DJ Booth 🙏🏾!!! I know that these moves have become popular in the DJ community, but why does a DJ feel like they have to be a background dancer as well? The crowd doesn’t need to see the DJ wave his arms around, trying to hype up the crowd unless… their set needs help musically. The DJ isn’t the attraction, the music is. People support DJ’s because of their playlist and how the same songs sound when that DJ plays them. The DJ should be watching the partygoers dance, not the other way around. I think that a DJ should focus more on what they are playing versus how they look while doing it. That would promote more creativity with all of the new technological advances instead of slowing down and memorizing videos that they see on KZbin. DJs are copying what they see other DJs do instead of creating new ways to transition, blend, or beat juggle.

Whose party is it? They look like they are trying to be in his video instead of enjoying themselves. I thought that the DJ’s job was to rock the party for the people who are actually attending the event. When did the art form become so selfish?

It's not real djing bro, ur tracks are cheesy and if u were banging that stuff in the 90s early 2000s u would be playing in front of kids. Go and tell Ritchie Hawtin ur the man go and do your finger twirl in front of joey beltram, Dave clarke or Robert Hood to some pop song bootleg mix with loop transition after loop transition and watch as they laugh at you, there's primary school kids that can put that stuff together because it's so generic cheesy and easy to understand. Techno is not just music it's a way of life which I have tattooed on me which is a phrase started years ago by the big guns of the underground sound dave clarke and dj rush and unanimously agreed with by their legendary peers who came up from simple drum machines and 303s and samplers and still created thunder and lightning. Entertaining for the casual fan but nobody values these tracks on vinyl and would pay hundreds for one good condition copy they are forgettable similar and too polished. I know that's ur market but I don't look at you and say 'real deal' ud get laughed off the decks when and where I spin

A real dj is simply someone who plays music to a crowd or on the radio. No mention of format

A lot of djs yes but this one no he is definitely doing everything and you can clearly hear the affect of each action he takes. If you learn DJing some day you will understand just how difficult and risky these transitions are

Hahahaha “real djing” nah. Real djing would be what the REAL djs do. Beatmatching, doing actual turntablism without the use of preset loops and actually mixing tracks in that nobody can get their their hands on which is OGs called “white labels”. This guy is just a kid who uses cheat codes as he makes his pizza in the microwave that we call hot pockets. This clown is a hot pocket and calls himself a gourmet pizza.

Hip hop DJs too busy actually doing things to prance around like a show pony and wiggle his knob every 30 seconds. This video is a joke right? If this is what modern dance DJing is, I'm sure glad I'm fifty and was alive when music was good. Sorry - I just don't get it.
