30kg of extra weight sounds like a fair bit! I am trying to work out some of my kit at the moment to reduce it down as much as I can. Took 5kg off the battery by going to LiPoFe4 Now just have to get the excess weight out of the camping equipment.

The ARB rack cross beams are 130 mm wide & the supplied brackets are as long as the width of these beams, so I had to buy 180mm x 40mmx5mm flat stainless & drill bolt holes to find out there is no excess to mount the tent as ARB platform rack has enclosed sides It was very tight and frustrating to fit I would recommend fitting the tent to the rack and then lowering with a gantry 0:34
