Same here. Same a video of someone attempting to do so using the battery from another Lenovo laptop. It fits in the slot but the wire connector is a little bit too short to reach the mother board.

See, right now in winters, when intense gaming, the GPU temps stay somewhere between 60-65. and in summers the numbers are between 70-80. Same goes with the CPU, but the CPU will gets hotter than the GPU, which is normal behaviour. Overall thermals are fine.

102k me if your're getting extended premium care and accidental damage protection, than go for it. even without that i'd say the standalone device is worth the money. Ek baar dekh lena competition kya offer kr rha hai. baaki device kaafi accha hai, in my personal experience.

Hey, thanks for watching. Mai room temperature pr hi khelta hu. abhi winters hain toh cpu, gpu temperatures kaafi normal rehte hain while gaming even for 4 -5 hours. Summers me cpu gpu temperatures get pretty high while gaming but not unusually hot. the Air vents at the back tend to get hot, but i'd say that's a good thing because it means internal heat is being dissipated optimally. the temperatures are same as any powerful gaming laptop. Overall i'd say thermals are good.

I have played demanding AAA titles like STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl, Black Myth Wukong, Cyberpunk 2077 and a few more, and fortunately I haven't noticed any major stuttering issues. Those two games you mentioned are very bad in terms of optimization because of the new Unreal Engine 5 and I have faced stuttering issues with those on my RTX 4070 Ti PC. So chill. Go for a laptop with a powerful latest gen processor. GPU is secondary, rtx 2050 or 3050 will be just fine. Get 16gb ram(ddr5). Save money on display. Get 1080p FHD, don't need 100% sRGB. As of now MSI has many great offerings. I'd recommend you check the official websites like lenovo, msi, acer. Since I have used Acer and Lenovo I can vouch for their overall quality. Hi Bro, I am also planning to buy same model. But have few questions can you clarify those. It can be useful for other people as well 1. Is Ram upgradable? And do we have another empty slot available for Ram or we have to swap the current ram stick with new one? 2. Is gaming good in 1080p? Saw some people are saying having blurred spots while playing games in 1080p beacuse of 1440p display.

Hey, I'll try my best to answer your questions. 1. Yes, the RAM is upgradeable and there is an additional slot availlable apart from the one being used. 2. See, I almost always play the games on 1440p native resolutions because the gpu is able to handle it pretty well. I have played a few times on 1080p and did notice some degrade in quality, but that's only because I was used to seeing 1440p. See personally, I went with the 1440p display because I wanted to be able to do high quality color grading and video editing and also to be able to watch movies in better quality. So if you're buying this laptop for competitive gaming specifically i'd recommend you go with the 1080p display. But if you want an overall great device i'd say you can go with the 1440p display without hesitation. Thanks for watching. 😊🙌

Why is the 7840HS faster than the 8845HS ??? This makes no sense from the naming.

hey, These two are basically the same chips, with the npu on the 8845hs being an exception. I would have gone with the 7840hs if it was an option. And i'm yet to find out how do I actually make use of that NPU or if its even gonna work, cuz a lot of reviewers are saying that this laptop already has LENOVO'S own in house AI Chip. The reason for 7840hs faring marginally better than the 8845hs in some tests might be because the 7840hs does not have an extra kind of obsolete AI component to feed energy to, which the 8845hs does. Hey, as I just checked the exact configuration as the one I have, is only available with Ryzen 7 8845HS. But if you want a 4060 LOQ, the only other option is Ryzen 7 7435hs, which is available for INR 85,990 (would be lesser with coupons). This data is from the Lenovo official website. Point to note is that the 7435hs variant does not have an igpu, only dedicated gpu, if that's not an issue for you, you can absolutely go for it. The power management will not be as good though. Hey, I found out there were reports of motherboard failure and other issues in the some units with the intel cipsets. hence, just to be safe I went with the AMD variant. some benefits being the lower price and better integrated graphics, which would mean I can almost always rely on the igpu when not gaming and extend battery life by turning off the dedicated gpu. Also, I already use a Ryzen 7 7800X3D in my PC, and was quite impressed by its performance. Considering all the above reasons, I decided to go with Ryzen. Thanks for watching. 😊🙌
