I'm a lot like you! I buy bags because I love them but end up not using them but love them so much that I don't want to get rid of them. They give me joy looking at them and styling them. I know why I don't use them and it comes down to not suiting my lifestyle. Reasons why I don't wear a bag: 1. Capacity: I have speedy 20 DE, Gucci ophidia mini Boston bag, olympia le tan book clutch to name a few. Love them but too small for everyday use. 2. Strap length: I'm short and like to wear my bags on the shoulder, not crossbody: a lot of bags don't shorten enough or the end of the strap sticks out if shortened. I hate how some bags jut out when worn crossbody. Bought and returned the Demellier midi Montreal because of this issue. 3. Having to baby a bag: love the look but end up avoiding smooth leather bags. I still haven't worn my Ferragamo and Coach zip swing because of that. 4. Shade: like you, I bought a LV bandeau to dress up a bright pink Maison Margiela alma shaped bag. Still didn't wear it because the bright pink doesn't match my more baby pink clothes. Light shades (white/beige): having to avoid dark colours/denim. Returned a small Chloe woody tote because the ecru canvas wraps around the bottom of the bag and its unsteady. Kept and have worn my Lonchamp ecru essential tote because it has black leather at the base. Took it travelling and have to admit it has faint dirt marks on it.

I love mine but never wear it. I am very much a Speedy 25 girl. And I also bought and returned the Demellier Midi Montreal! What a coincidence! I do look at it sometimes and think I'm going to give it a second chance, though. I just love the style. As for white bags, I love them so much that I just don't pay attention to the color transfer. If I see it starting, I wipe it down to minimize the transfer but if it happens, so be it. I buy my bags to use and love them and that's just part of it. That's the way I see it anyway. Hi! I take mine to a local consignment shop. Everything I have ever taken has gone. It's 40 percent to me and I don't have to ship or do anything and it frees up space.
