From what I've read, she's still in good mechanical condition. So I follow that by saying... Steam her again you cowards!

Someone as young as myself can’t really imagine such an antiquated engine running on the NYMR, although it’s something I’d love to see.

I see an abundance of culture sharing, unity, joy. It's difficult to not wonder if we'll ever see it again. I don't want to be negative on such a wonderful video, but I wanted to share my observation.

I would like to be part of pf this 😂. I can be a representative of the Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 branch. 05:21 minutes of umbrella action ☔ is honestly very appealing 😜. So greatfull for the rain in Scotland compared to the rest of the 🌎. 👌🏻

Although I'm just an American, I find historical UK rail equipment quite fascinating, particularly the Stirling Singles, but others too. It's just so strange to believe that this locomotive was used for the Victorian Era and were once the fastest locomotives for that particular railway. It was certainly revolutionary for its time. Too bad this engine is stuck on static display. At least I got to hear what it's whistle sounded like. And I'm going to be real, this locomotive or any real rail equipment compare to those certain fictionalized trains from a certain show that takes place on an island that doesn't fricking exist. This locomotive might of been the basis for a certain Emerald Tender engine, but that engine is not real, the one in the video is. I understand that children and fans of only the show and not of the actual railways get excited whenever they see the basis of the locomotive the character is based on and make comments on calling them by the characters' names, but it's not always needed.

IDIOTIC video. Did a Russian drone sink it? Did the crew get angry they have no beer and scuttle it? Aliens? Did the covid vaccine eat through the bottom of the hull? Or did they just jump overboard and allow it to steam on until out of fuel? WHAT HAPPENED and WHY?

Got to admire your " can do" attitude, and you've made the effort to get there, but I bet that by the end of the day, it looked more like a ploughing match than a tractor pull!😅

Does the coxswain actually know what's going on at his own station he commented that the new boat would be out training. The Press Secretary should be running the station as she told me months ago that the new boat would take part. The only down side was that the whole demonstration was so tame that it was boring, if it wasn't for the presence of the dolphins they shouldn't have bothered. There was a moment where the boat was in a small swell and boy did the boat roll, I'd hate to be onboard when the boat gets out in real weather😱 I don't know if you were paid Paul but at least it didn't take up much time. I didn't even bother filming or photographing it👎
