Great vlog, thanks Cassandra. Many good hacks to help refocus on a few interests that I have a desire to return to and haven't found my way back to. Your suggestions are like a mix of re-inspiration hacks and artist's dates (Julia Cameron). 🌻

Lovely video, love the painting Cassandra, your cosmetic creations - you are art. Soft and georgous seems like a good name for the beautiful art work. I use your Art of Life cards regularly, enjoying what is presented through the card of the day to contemplate how my day can be seen from a positive angle, they are great fun cards with beautiful pictures. 💛

Hi! I am a happy painter, too! I just had my first gallery exhibit (until May 31,) and it is all about Light, Joy and the energetic Cycles of life. People are enjoying being in a room full of joy. This makes me ecstatic! Back to paint... Have a fabulously inspired day!

I'm glad this video came up on my feed. I'm an artist who suffers from depression and life has been very hard the past few years due to multiple losses and bereavements. I often find myself curled up in a ball crying, wondering why life is so hard and why other people seem to cope better. I have uncurled myself because I know my life is better when I face my challenges. I'm currently facing some challenges that really scare me but I'm being as brave as I can. I really relate about struggling with a grey environment, I found this winter particularly hard and wonder about moving somewhere else with better weather and milder winters in the future if I'm able to afford it. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.

Thanks Cassandra, a practical vlog. I love the telling of how the author, I think it was Michael Cunningham, handled his criticism, such strength and honoring of self. Julia Cameron 's suggestion to write a letter to your critic, can be used for any criticism in life and would help lift the weight of shame that criticism dumps on us no matter how untrue it might be. A great way to start assessing and celebrating one's own efforts. ❤

A lovely reminder to do self-care from the time we wake, thanks Cassandra. Your reminder about how you finish up your working day was a lovely trigger for myself, as I snatch 10 minute slots between clients to meditate, an end of day ritual is a lovely idea and I am going to work on that. ❤

I really enjoy Be Do Succeed interviews however, this interview is one that I will re-listen to as it is so encouraging of those of us who are working in a small way on our own, in our own business and somethings getting stuck in our daily stuff - I have discovered over time that my vibe tribe can be and is a supportive online community and it was great to hear Cassandra talk about that. Also great were the many other suggestions, tips, ideas that help to propel me forward in the development of working for myself. Thank you both.

@TheJoyfulArtistNZ6 жыл бұрын
I'm so glad...we had such a great evening...and best of all I am hangover-free...I made a great mocktail which our guests loved...amazingly, and I didn't know this before, one quest told me she has just discovered that perhaps she is an alcoholic..she loved the mocktail as it made her feel part of the party...the recipe was made from the Phoenix Organic Sparkling Infusions you see in the video (Watermelon, Limeflower & Apple), soda water, apple juice, gingerbeer, a tablespoon of marmelade, ice, fresh mint and slices of lemon. Best of all a couple of drinking guests asked for a glass of this as a starter and went back for seconds...all served in fancy margarita glasses. A named it 'Manu" which in Maori means bird.The bird of course is on the cover of Mind Your Drink: The Surprising Joy of Sobriety...choosing soberity is all about flying free.
