It's not truly unpaid work - you're compensated with the NHS bursary in return....

That wardrobe will give you lots of storage space. It’s probably deeper than you would have by choice but it was dictated by the slope over the stairs ( we have the same issue ). The other option would be some sort of custom built cabin bed which you could consider when you have a second child and need to use all the bedrooms.

Awwwee what a sweet fur baby! Congrats. 🎉 I have a 15 year old dapple I rescued about 5 years ago her name is Minnie cus she is so short and tiny. Lol. I recently saw another dapple puppy that was adorable but someone reserved him right away. 😢. I have a 15 year old Pom and a 3 year old poodle. They are all rescues. I had a 16 year old bischon frize but he passed away in a March and he was my only boy and was very loyal. My dachshund and the poodle both sleep touching my leg every night all night. My Minnie is so loyal!!! God bless you and your family.

I’d caution against putting any furniture against (or closer than a foot to) radiators. Anything in front of them will block the radiant heat and make them much less effective (likely push costs up too), the warmth from them will also dry out the material the furniture is made from as well as joints and any glue holding them together and so the furniture won’t last long. Also ...... query ..... “Valentimes”? is that an ‘In Family Joke’?

I’ve seen people on other renos use IKEA wardrobes and shelves to hack into amazing walk in wardrobes!! It’s a much cheaper option. You can paint them too.
