This lineup of legendary musicians was so special, it just embodies all that Heavy Metal was, is, and will ever be. And will always be my favorite Black Sabbath lineup -regardless of what any label says. Geezer, Vinny, the Grand Riffmaster/Godfather of Heavy Metal, and the Man on the silver mountain himself, RJD. They sit right at the top.

I was 14, front row headbanging at the feet of Cliff Burton in Palo Alto. Cliff poured a pint of beer on my head laughing (I hung out with him backstage). I looked up and saw Jon Bush nodding at me and grinning from ear to ear backstage in his Armored Saint outfit.

In his book, Geezer Butler wrote about how during this tour Ronnie would have severe stomach pain before and after shows, and how Ronnie refused to cancel shows. Ronnie loved performing and he loved his fans.

best anthrax singer. Bush made anthrax as heavy as pantera. Never liked Joy at all. Made anthrax sound like a heavier iron maiden and I aint a fan or Irion maiden. That aint metal. That's just rock no heavier than Aerosmith.
