I love this game, i still think this is one of Lawlors best tables. There aren't a bunch of modes to play through, the entire game IS the mode, its funny, incorporates almost all of he favorite elements, and its just fun as hell to play, not to mention, that hole in one is SO satisfying!

Because both machines came from the same manufacturer at the same time and use the same electronics. All early 80’s Williams machines sound like firepower 😂

I was 27 in 88 and between the late 80s and early 90s it was Taxi, Earthshaker and Funhouse. At the 2000s TMNT and South Park. 😊

We owned this machine as a project and it was sold prior to completion. I don’t know where you can find one to play but it isn’t completely rare. Seek and you will find! 🙂

As I watch this movie, my 7 yr old son is playing with Lego. He recognizes all the sounds: "Oh, he has Time Lock'" (finally) he says... (we have a Road Kings which we play a lot)

How hard would it have been to paint the steel ball to look like a yellow and black pacman like on the monitor? That would have been way better. Played this before in the wild at the arcades in the 1980s. Very interesting design.

I have one of these machines. I bought it from a company housed in a big barn in GA. They had pinball machines, video games, Pac Man machines, shooting games, etc. They must have had 40-50 pinball machines and I must have played every one of them to find the right one. This machine plays like a banshee. There are so many Easter-eggs in the game play and it's fast as lightning. If you're looking for a pinball machine and come across one of these in good condition, BUY IT. You won't be disappointed. (Sorry, mine is not for sale) . Also, have the original lights replaced with LEDs. I did and it looks brand new and bright as a Christmas tree. It's worth the investment. .

Why does it seem like bonus is getting held across multiple balls (unless it's so fast I don't see hold bonus getting re-lit each time)? And it holds both the previous bonus value and the multipliers so you don't have to get up to 4x again?

Without reviewing this old video for time stamps, I can say that the hold bonus carry thru you see IS the strategy. It can be achieved at throwing spikes AND as a matrix award. Also “collect bonus” should be exploited for another massive points grab after max multiplier and spinner millions are racked. And yes, hold bonus retains multiplier.

As a crappy player, I love how someone can hit 40 ramps in a row, and then the next player up can hit 2 ramps and beat you.

Restoring this particular game as I write this to you. Very interesting mix of old em and solid state. I was extremely lucky enough to have the original 8 track player be in almost perfect condition. Including drive belt. It didn’t come with the original tape but ordered one on line. It was missing the targets in the Haunted House in the rear of the playfield. I’ll be recreating those unfortunately. Thanks for this post it helps those of us in this hobby that restore understand game play!
