I won't say I hate this concerto, but it's too often heard and Vivaldi wrote far mire interesting concertos for mandolin or as you see here, small lutes as were the "mandolins" of the day. RV 532 and RV 558 are both far better concerti. RV 558 is superb and includes multiple instrument solos including baroque mandolins. Fabio Biondi has RV 558 here on KZbin. Check it out. I commend this recording as it is wonderful. The mandolinist is an excellent professional musician.
