Good point. It’s pretty much silent. Even the paddle shifters and buttons have a muffled click rather than a loud click or clunk.

the 787 is for sale right now, also the nissan r92cp wich in my opinion is the better car. turns better and is easier to handle and also a VERY GOOD option for the pp800 races it also handles very well in the rain at the spa 1 hour race.

This is not a proper review. If he was a sim racing expert, he should have noticed right away the issue of running the Moza wheel on the Ps5 through the converter. Recognizing the Moza wheel as the G29, there is a dead zone of the FFB from side to side of the center. In short, you don't get the texture of the road or any feedback from straight driving. This isn't just the lack of feedback from the center position, which is not the problem. Naturally, the feedback comes in all of a sudden as soon as you leave the center dead zone, so you get a secondary problem with the input of harsh feedback. Every time you go through the center of the handle, it feels like a snap. Obviously, there's no feedback of DD wheel quality. I've used the ps5 to R5, I've used Fanatec DDpro to R12. R5 or something could have the benefit of any downsides. That's because it feels much better than a cogwheel or a belt-type motor. However, if you're thinking of using an intermediate-level or higher DD wheel, I recommend a product with a full license. It's not a problem that can be solved by an update, recalibration or reset.

@Doughtinator each one of my times reflects entirely on how obstructive the ai drivers were and not so much on my abilities, 😊. The fastest time that I did was also my last attempt, and by that time, I had no truck with two or three cars side by side ahead and barged through them. I also had TC on 2 but utilised C.S.A. weak also. So not that good, but I am feeling a lot more in control of the cars of late and I am really enjoying it, it's really lovely to have your encouragement and it means a very great deal to me, 🫂. Unfortunately, I broke two toes on my right foot yesterday, which means I will be on the controller for a little while, prepare to see those times tumble, 😂.

I haven’t tried an R9. I assume it will be better. But the R5 feels very sharp and was strong enough for what I needed 👍🏻👍🏻

@@MeTaMaNvR thank you, maybe I'll do the R5, just don't want to sink too much money into a starting steering wheel , I do have big hands so I also don't want an undersized wheel. on the R5, what I'm hearing is that if I want to go to the EUROTRUCK sim wheel or the American Truck SImulator, that the replacement semi truck sized wheel will not work well with the R5 because it needs the R9, in other words, it would probably over-heat? or no?

I just ordered mine from direct from moza due to their sales pricing of the clutch pedal and wheel bundle and srp lite brake mod compared to other sellers. I'm looking forward to take sim racing seriously and hit the limits of this Moza r5 then step up to a Logitech g pro by next summer since i put 300 hrs on my g920 setup and was able to get professional lap times on Tsukuba and Suzuka and lastly on brands hatch with mx5 cup and gt3 cars and felt confident in my skill range with my g920 setup but hit clipping and want to get more lower times with the Moza r5 for more detailed ffb. I'm excited!

@@Doughtinator Real life it is more expensive, however, the price of many cars has risen too much and the low payouts are inhibitive. The game punishes people for starting after release. My collection would be half what it is today, with how much more expensive some of these cars are. The races payout like its 2016, but cars are priced at 2024 prices.

So if I was using moza r5 base moza wheel and pedals, does the moza sgp sequential shifter work with brooks adapter? Also do I need have the moza hub or can connect the shifter to the wheel base then plug into brooks adapter?

There is a good chance it’ll work. But check the raslution2 page to see if it’s listed. I’ve used the h shifter and the handbrake and they work.

Absolutely love this build. Only adjustments I opted for compared to your tune were: • 5/5 for ARBs & 2.84/2.99 for spring rate with 0.10 for front toe angle • 10/15/50 for LSD settings • 130/220 for downforce • 290 for top speed on transmission I chose to skip the turbochargers for fuel saving, but I got better cornering overall & virtually no wheelspin for a small trade-off of top speed. Nailed a 26 flat with those settings but you nailed an awesome baseline for such a notoriously twisted event!

It might not work. I’ve tested it to need all MOZA equipment to work with MOZA pedals.
