Why hasn't anyone done a fairing to make these motorcycles look like a Tron Lightcycle? Or Peraves MonoTracer/MonoRacer? I understand the hang-on-racers...they move...these don't. Besides the old Tron Lightcycle designs are cool. As always, a bigger scale would be easier to see as a spectator.

I thought this is a Kyosho "1/8 EP MOTORCYCLES HANGING ON RACER". Is this an X-Rider 1/5 Scorpio? Too bad, Kyosho doesn't make 1/5 or 1/4 scale versions. ( like X-Rider 1/5 Scorpio or 1/4 BX4003 )

It is a shame that radio controlled motorcycle racing hasn't taken off in the USA. One can't even find a KZbin channel dedicated to it like FPV quadcopter racing. It is weird that FPV cameras haven't been added to the racing motorcycles where the drivers use FPV goggles. This would remove the need for line-of-site control. Additionally, retractable outrigger landing gear could be added to the motorcycles like the Peraves MonoRacer (MonoTracer) to keep the motorcycle upright when stopped. It can also assist in righting the motorcycle when on its side, with the gear retracted. There are videos on KZbin showing this: "The Peraves EcoMobile - Discovery Beyond 2000 (1994)" and "The Peraves EcoMobile - Discovery Invention (1991)".

These RC motorcycles really need retractable outrigger landing gear like the Peraves MonoRacer. It can right itself using the gear, with the gear retracted, and can stop without falling over with the gear extended. This would eliminate the need for so many helpers on the track, and starting blocks. They should also add FPV cameras and have the drivers use FPV googles. Then the tracks could be bigger and longer.

These guys need to add retractable outriggger landing gear like the Peraves MonoRacer so the motorcycles can right themselves after tipping over and can start from a standstill without a stand. Also the need FPV cameras and the drivers need to race with FPV googles.
