I need to see more of the lift and placement into the already hot Dutch oven. And I also needed to see the lid go on with the sling. My whole baking process is pretty good and my results are generally good. The one issue I have is occasionally burning myself trying to place the dope in the hot oven. I’m not sure I saw enough of that process.

Thank you! I have a kallax and tried drilling screws to attach a hook but it wouldn't tighten strongly, and i researched and found kallax is hollow core and found toggle bolts are good for hollow core doors but just wasn't sure it would work with a kallax unit, thanks so much for confirming with this video!

Thanks for the review. Can you reheat food that's in the chafing dish in the oven at 350 then transfer it over to the stand to keep warm? I can't find any information about whether it's oven safe.
@TechGirlBargainsАй бұрын
That I don’t know. I don’t see why you can’t. I like to heat everything in the oven in a baking dish. Then once I know the water in the bottom of the chafing dish is hot enough, I move the food from the oven and the original baking dish and place it in the chafing dish to keep warm. You can also cook the food in crock pots and move it over to the chafing dishes. I like to keep a large coffee pot and heat water in it and then I can use that water to put in the bottom chafing dishes. Remember to get sterno and enough to keep the food warm.
@SaraKempnerАй бұрын
Great tips, thanks! I love the coffee pot water idea. Yesterday I tested putting the pan in the oven for 30 minutes on 350 and the dish held up fine 😅

Where i can get the app?
@TechGirlBargains2 ай бұрын
That is a great question and I should have included that in the video. You just install the "Smart Life" app from the iPhone App store or the Adroid app store. Once you have the Smart Life app installed, you will click the + to add new device and it should automatically detect the Tera charger. Once it finds the Tera charger you'll be able to see what I was showing on in the video.

Nice review and video. Just one question. All the other reviews expressed great disappointment that the cover is NOT waterproof as advertised and many wished they had purchased a waterproof cover at the time. How did you get a waterproof cover? Did you have to call the mft/seller and insist? Thanks in advance. Richard
@TechGirlBargains2 ай бұрын
Hi Richard, I just went ahead and purchased my own waterproof cover for it. I know that it, the furniture set is water resistant, but it is always safer to keep them covered with a waterproof cove in addition to protect your investment. That is the way I look at it. One thing that I will mention to you now that I’ve had the set for a while is that when I left the cushions out in the sun, the black did fade a little so I had wished that I had covered them when I wasn’t using them so again, it’s always good to purchase a cover for when you’re not using the furniture. I hope you found this helpful.
@richardstock3992 ай бұрын
@@TechGirlBargains Opps, I wasn't clear. Sorry. I'm planning to purchase the fire table, NOT the furniture. It's that table that garnered all the complaints about the included cover not being waterproof as they advertised... yet your photography showed it soaking with water. So, is THAT cover for the fire table one you purchased additionally, or is it the one that the mfg purchased. Not sure who to trust and wondered if you had photographed a wet original cover or you bought one separately. Thanks :)

Simply gently insert the end of a flat head screwdriver or a butter knife between the end and the battery and tilt it a little. The battery should pop out.

I bourght one recently. I first saw one used on a youtube video and really liked it.. I use it to mix some instant tea powder and powdered vitamins and some other powders into water. It works very well.. however after having it for a month or so.. and one day i tried to use it.. it would not work. I thought maybe the batteries were dead. but when i opned up the battery compartment i saw one of the metal battery tabs had broke off. I was able to use a bit of rolled up foil to make battery contact so it could work.. but it is not a good long term solution (risks of short circuiting. Does the company Peach Street offer a warrantee against defects?

I really want to do it the legit way with the table saw/router method, but I do NOT have the proper setup for that so I'm basically just gonna do this, and slice just a bit off the inside edges of the stiles and rails with my router to have the panel sit inside it. Well I feel stupid now, I never thought of just gluing/nailing the board to the face! I was trying to do that fancy tongue and groove thing that the lowes cabinets have. I can just make the cabinets 1/2" shallower and make the door 1/2" thicker. Going to look into this when it's not 4am!
