These were such fun times. love going back and watch these races. This was such a fun layout.. one of the only HT days where we had dirt. ThankS! (AKA-Supermotofoto)

I miss those great times daily ! You still have a bike ? Ever heading back out to Coral Pink Dunes ? I finally got a decent Side by Side and am itching to get back out there! Seems we left the series and the whole SoCal Supermoto scene imploded. Sucks. Be great to see you again my friend ! - Jay

Did you ever put the EBC pad's in the truck from Amazon?
@Brakelateatmsn2 жыл бұрын
I have not yet. Life happens, then winter came on. Put some 35's on and are loving them - review to follow, along with brake install vid and discussion. Thankfully, at almost 40k miles, the stock stuff is in amazing shape. But added stopping power will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for asking !

Nice run definitely agree you left light on rpm at launch is the bike stock I have a 06 k1200r and with full exhaust power command v with auto tune and the airbox mod for the second filter never had a chance to take it to the strip since I've owned it but it is definitely one of the fastest bike I've ever riden from an acceleration stand point

Yeah that'd be a hard "no effing way" from me. Maybe if I knew the river well, knew that one spot well, and had a very good idea about exactly what I was getting myself into. Matt might have all of that, and the fact that he drove right on through without issue points that way.

We don’t cross washes or streams after a rain in Arizona. Too many people don’t make it across and rescue crews are kept very busy during our monsoons.

The car I have coming is rated up to 23 and change inches of water fording- doesn’t matter to me, I won’t be crossing anything like this because of exactly what you said. The only water crossing I’ll be doing is a puddle in the store parking lot or if I’m god forbid trapped on the highway that gets flooded (nothing like what you’re experiencing there) and knowing I can get out of it without destroying my car. My mom knows someone who was killed years ago crossing a “stream” that turned out to have an 8 ft deep part in it and he was swept away and drowned. Water is so dangerous, more people need to respect it.

Great trucks. The latest generation is a teaser, with the large center screen, and newer 8 Speed Trans. But, this is my 3rd, and I sometimes wonder if my '13 model with the 5.7, 4.30's and leaf springs wasn't a better truck in a lot of ways.

When it comes right down to it, I think driver experience, tire choice and the psi you run would make more of a difference between a Ram Rebel and a Power Wagon stock vs. stock. The Rebels IFS might ride smoother, but the PW's sway bar disconnect might call that a draw. Power-wise, the engines are almost identical, with the later 6.4L having a little more than the 5.7 of the Rebel as well as the '13 model shown. The Rebel has 3.92 gears and a locking Rear Differential. The earlier 5.7L PW's have 4.56 gears, and those with the later 6.4L have 4.10 Ratios. All with front & rear lockers. The Rebel has a 'nicer' transmission (eight speed vs six speed Autos) which might go a long way towards leveling the playing field, but in '20 the Power Wagon gets the 8-speed as well. Best of all worlds. Plus, the PW sits a bit taller and packs that 12k Warn Winch that the Rebel does not have. For the money, the Rebels are VERY nice. BOTH are better than any other 1/2 ton for play, other than the Raptor. But, on a "Heavy Duty" 3/4 and up, the Power Wagon is the only way to go! IMHO
@Kliffy775 жыл бұрын
Impressive! Does the Rebel preform better in soft Sand? Due to wight & power?
