Death getting Absalon's axe in new game+ was very neat, considering War also found the personal weapons of his brothers in his game. Fury also gets weapons similar to her brothers's in her game and the second DLC. Wish we got to see more stories about individual Nephilim, than just about five.

Honestly: if we get a 4rth part of darksiders, they could give death the ability to summon the spirits of the nephilim as allies, like the third part of lord of the rings. There could be little dialogues between death and the spirits, background talk. And yes, i really want Darksiders 4. I even arranged a new theme.

Not happening. Darksiders 2 ends with Sacrificing the souls of the Nephilim to resurrect humanity. And it's questionable, what that even did, if there's no humans to be seen in Darksiders 1, which begs the question, WHERE are the "ressurected" humans? Did they join Fury's refuge? Eden is also out of the question, since Darksiders 1's ending is the latest chapter in the story.

I wouldn't take Samael serious, he is a demon after all and by nature manipulative. If I remember correctly I think he has a foresight power which is why he is a threat to Lucifer and why Lucifer wants to take him out. Plus remember the ending when Samael killed the final Boss in Darkside genesis before he could reveal something important.

Samael was right about Absalon, as he was the strongest Nephilim back in the day and powered by corruption, he gained new abilities, that threatened all of creation. It's just that Death also grew in power, after all those millennia and the countless missions he did for the counsil. Also Samael is the second strongest character, we have seen, of course his bossfight would be tougher, than anyone elses.

Int he Abomination Vault, Death openly admits that War is smarter than he is on the field of battle. So Battle IQ goes to War, not overall IQ though

These theories all seem very unlikely. Death doesn’t get powers from the well. The only thing that’s really implied is that death gets killed then respawned by the seventh seal.

Death in his base form, not powered by the council was able to stand up against Samael, and fight him to a stand still. An empowered version of the character should have no porblemes against him. Not haithing, I like Samael to

@@benedekwirth8535 Samael has seen all 4 in action during the genocide of the nephilim. He seemed surprised that Death was able to land a blow at all. And has stated that it would take all 4 to kill him. Even if he is arrogant, that is a bold claim.
