Keep making videos man things will pick up just post as much as you can. Get a camera for your front fender pointing at you. Those clips help the watcher stay interested

do you only use 800 or 3200 iso to shoot? or do you ever go higher in order to overexpose 1-2 stops? some people say stick with 800-3200 for best dynamic range possible. but then sometimes I find myself where I am at -2 metering and my only chance for overexposing left is ISO. Idk what to do in those situations

hello spencer! Excellent video I have a question to use the phantom luts, do you apply them directly to the clip, or do you first do the conversion from slog 3 to rec709? Thank you

No need to covert to rec709 before applying! I usually do apply either in the creative tab of premier or a third serial node in resolve so I can still have some lossless exposure and curves adjustment before the LUT changes things 👍🏽👍🏽

Phantom is the conversion from Log to Rec709, thats what they are designed for.

I am! Anywhere from 1-2. I definitely think that it’s needed to get a good balanced exposure.

Dang great video mate! I still use an X-T1 to this day because of its smaller size and the sensor (I love the 2nd Xtrans) but I'm not that into using it for video cause there's like white pixels stuck in the footage (like 2 or 3 sometimes) and it bothers me somehow. I gotta say the X-Trans IV bodies really do great videos (Used X-T30 for video documenting stuff) still if you're willing to put in some work in the older bodies it works.
