Unfortunately I have developed a bit of an aversion to the glottal stop as an American. It seems a bit lazy.

My German colleagues always combine "if" and "would" which I find wrong in general ("if we would enter the market earlier, we would make make profits"). Can anyone confirm this? Thank you.

It’s so awesome to see this! I told my buddy a long time ago he’d get a good shoulder punch every time he did that dumb glottal stop. lol, he figured it out and sounds like a normal human now. Glad you’re encouraging proper pronunciation. We need to combat this weird epidemic especially in the US!! 🤣

Dear Ma'am Gill, Your lesson on Consonant Sounds is very interesting ! The words are simple, but while pronouncing them the weight of the words makes the difference. Thanks,Ma'am for coming up with such wonderful lessons !😊

Cockney was from East London, 40 years ago when I first went to work, you could tell which part of London they were from, depending they were from, a South London accent was very distinctly different from a cockney accent. It's a dying accent in east London, due to the fact that there are so many people from different ethnic backgrounds. You have a Highbrid West Essex accent, the sounds Mockney, like Jamie Oliver.

Not as clear as it could have been because you didn't talk about a global way to understand it. Nuns, stress on the first, verbs on the second....it can help to put words in groups, the end of the word ( ty, tion, able, etc....) There are global rules to know that help a lot. I ve just discovered your channel and already subscribed cause I like it. Thanks for your help
