Yeah man. My friend Spenner he did contact fighting and basketball he was an athlete, not great academically but his Dad was spending £12k a year on his education, £30k a year on his combined kids education, so he HAD to keep up with school or he'd get thrown out which is where I came in, helping Spen with his lessons. But his nights weren't spent doing his maths and english and history, I was doing them for £20 a pop, while he was off doing karate and kicking ass winning loads of regionals and two nationals by the time he was 15. He told me long after I left school at 4pm, he'd be in the basketball gym practicing 3 pointers cos he knew his Dad wouldn't finish work and be there to pick him up from the gates until 5:30pm, so he'd do that ... then his Dad (bless him) would drive him to karate, go home to his wife and his other kids, go back pick Spen up at 7:30pm, bring him home force him to do his homework and then bed. School next day. But at weekends, his Dad would bring him to work with him, at his business, and forcibly learn him the business too and slap him silly in front of everyone when he made a stupid mistake. That business is a million pound business - MORE than that now - and you can't fuck it up. What a life my mate had. Now, he's hard as fuck never lost a fight except once to a massive Australian guy when he was drunk on holiday in Thailand, but now he runs the business and earns £150k a year since his Dad retired. Now he comes to mine every single weekend and we talk business, we talk history and good times, he listens as I talk about all the shit I've learned recently and HE learns and he has a keen mind. Special kind of guy. For all them £20 notes I earned doing Spens work back in the day, I KNOW for a fact that if I ever get ANY SHIT that I need help with, and I call him, he is round at my house within the hour saying "LETS GO FUCKING SORT IT NOW THEN!". You can't buy that kind of friend. Bisping too is a special kind of guy. Not a thug, just had that same mentality but perhaps not with the gifts my mate had (having a choice). Love this guys attitude. Wish him the best.
