Был в коллекции такой винил. Но я не смог его играть. Слишком сложный для моего сета

This is one of them ones that laid the foundation, it’s what todays UK garage resurgence sounds like, Groove Chronicles you’re the first guy I heard that was pushing the boundaries of the darker side of the mid to late 90’s 2 step uk garage scene, i hope you get royalties on that ‘1999’ snare that everyone is sampling today 😂😜

I've met both mystical Influence & his brother Sniper, they lived in Heart Lake a part of a city outside of Toronto and made vinyl syndicate. Outside of the UK, Toronto has the next biggest rave or party scene in the world or it did back when it was the late 90s and early 2000s. I think that dub plate pressure won awards for being best track of the year. It was a big deal because I think it was the first time a DJ did that that wasn't from the UK

I know it sounds cool to think your home town was the "next biggest rave" scene outside of the UK but I was in San Francisco/Oakland in the mid-90s and the City of Oakland permitted MASSIVE raves to happen almost every weekend at an abandoned Home Depot, near the Oakland airport. There were legit Oakland police walking around the rave and literally 50 porta-potties in a row and EVERYBODY was fucked up on MDMA. There was 4 to 5 rooms. House, Techno, Drum & Bass, Downtempo and a Chillout room. They were legal for years until too many kids overdosed and then everything shutdown and went underground. I doubt Toronto had more and bigger raves than Bay Area Norcal. Seriously doubt that. BTW I bought this track on vinyl (still have it) in Berkeley at the "Trance and Drum & Bass Factory" if anybody was about that life and remembers the bay area scene back in 1996.

The bassline needs to be heard on good speakers. This at a rave was intense back in the day.
