People all over the world, in America Australia and other countries are trying to trace their ancestry to and through Llanbeblig. Maintaining digitized records, an online visitor site or attractive cemetery visit experience could have helped to fund the maintenance of this historic burial ground.

Hello, I wonder if anyone could help me. I am tracing my family tree and on the 1911 census I have researched, Caernarfon Ebeneezer is stated on the census. I believe that this is the parish maybe that the members of the family were registered in. My family are the Parrys. If anybody could help that would be great. Fell free to contact me. Thank you

All we need is the Bontnewydd bypass. The A479 going through Caernarfon is all we need. And also the Caernarfon bypass will cause so much distress with the 3 lanes going over the caravan park and etc.

At 1:48 that jewellers on the left is STILL closed. I remember once in 40 years it opened and I bought something. I must the ONLY one who did! Don't like the way the town has changed. It has NOT been for the better.

The council will do nothing to it these days mainly because its too much of a cost to do so and probably too "dangerous", like in the old days i think its up to us as a community to look after such places as the Graveyard and the Park. I think there should be an organization made by the community to chip in to rent or even buy the tools to clear this mess up on a regular basis, and hire specialists to clear up the harmful substances such as Needles and drugs left over. As a young cofi in his early twenties whose studied history of Wales and europe, i think local or even distant historians and travelers would benefit from the clearing of the Cemetery, seeing theres plenty of history from the site, especially from the Wars in the Victorian era and the deaths from the Cholera. Aswel its one less area for the "druggies and alchies" to hang about and loiter disrespectfully. Forget about the Council fatcats, its the peoples who makes more of a difference.

Most of the Councillors don't know their left from their right, I liken them to spitting image puppets.....how they have destroyed Caernarfon and it's buildings and history!

the council have killed this town, with the crap they built on the docks, cheap microwave meals and cheap hotels so the visitors stay down the docks rather than have a nice meal in a restaurant in town and stay in a b&b. and would you pay to park your car to go shopping in the shitty little shops that have to pay too much rates, `this town is dead` RIP CAERNARFON..............

This poor bloody town has been suffering a terminal decline since the 60s/70s onwards. The councils lack of imagination is criminal.Caernarfon is just a holding bay for seasonal tourists.

I am waiting on the final photos from Mike which I hopefully will receive this week for updating. I also have a few more videos to put together which I will mark up on CaernarfonOnline as soon as they have been completed. I am so pleased you enjoyed the event. We really need more people to get involved and supply us with photos, vids etc.

Mikes photos are on the Festival website. He also took this video and Caernarfon Online edited it. Michael works very hard with Glyn every year and we are very lucky to have such dedicated people involved in this wonderful annual event. I'm glad you enjoyed John's performance.

Thanks for your message. Indeed, sending letters and photos to the council will help raise the issue, but the sad fact is that the council are not responsible for its upkeep, this is the responsibility of the Church or Wales and they claim they cannot afford to maintain it. We have been going in circles for years.

I'm sad to see this. I'm going on holiday there in July, I noticed from Street view there was an overgrown cemetery and church there. Is this on the A4085? I am going to the Glan Gwyna holiday park, and I love going round old churches and graveyards. Maybe as a visitor I could take some pictures and send them to the council? Would they do something if they felt tourism was being affected in the area? I would like to help if I can, I believe our cemetery's should be respected.

a GREAT town ( a ROYAL town ) ruined by idiots that think they know the ins n out of the "DRE" it takes a man/woman to go all over the world and realize the SHIT that goes on in places like Afghanistan / Iraq and talk about it , you can talk about gwynedd council and all the rest as much as you want but the true answer is , u[nless you elect a TRUE covi ( not some snotty nosed wannabe toff ) then you will ALWAYS have a yes man

@sparkygl0s The video went with an article at the time, which the council promised another road was to be considered to be built alongside the existing bridge. As usual, it seems it has fallen by the wayside.
