I like this single malt. Even though I'm a peat bomb lover. Great nose in the glass. Oily sweet toffee on taste. Some chili pepper on the finish. Sweet all the way. Daily drinker? No. A great palate cleanser or dessert drink? Yes. Also a whisky to get a lady into 😉.

Great take, thanks for sharing! It's surprisingly good given its price point and overall positioning. Hi, there. Brazil has no tradition in whiskey culture. Until last week I didn't even know the difference between a blended and a single malt. I started reading about the subject stimulated by the fact that the price of whiskey was falling here. I decided to buy a single malt starter, I paid the equivalent of twenty five pounds for the Singleton Dufftown 12 (750 ml) being that it costs at least 38 pounds in the UK. I liked it so much that from now on I only intend to buy single malts.

@@GunGuy258 Ah, totally get it - here in Poland it’s still considered as a really great (almost Woodford-level) bourbon, but I’m sure its way bigger availability in the US gives a totally different picture. Add the 101s ethos of being a bourbon to get shitfaced among youngsters and there you have it - I see what you're getting at. Nonetheless, thanks for your comment!
