Ryan, wrote a business management paper on you and why I wanted to get into sound engineering in the first place. You’ve had a huge impact on my career even if you haven’t known it. You’ve worked with a couple friends over the years and Ive just been so impressed with the type of projects you’ve worked on and the sound’s you’ve been able to create. Cheers, maybe someday we can work together that’s a dream… but Cheers.

Hey, that was great guys. Good questions and letting him tell his story. I’ve been recording since 1988, 4 track cassette, then 8 track reel to reel, then Akai DPS16, and finally computer on Nuendo 1 and so on. I’m passionate about great recordings too! Thanks! One thing, I synced my Alesis MMT8 to my Tascam 4 track and had 3 analog tracks with my midi. I mixed down to Tascam DAT. Ha! That was some pioneer times for recording 30 years ago.

Very interesting… ‘leakage is your friend.’ Tryed it in a simple setup with guitar and vocals. But from the moment you start working one of them, the other makes it sound wrong.
