We have quads, we want to get paid. Never be balanced, because they aren’t. If they seem balanced, they are just over bluffing most of the time and over/under folding = mistakes. B25% is a cool play and might induce, but if you are going to take this line, might as well just quit.

You had about the worst combo draw there, he could have had Kx of spades your spades are dead. He could have had 10J suited your straight was dead…. I mean I may be wrong

@@lockedinpoker I’d be worried he has a better draw. I think it’s a check call on flop this deep. Especially if we know villain stations and can’t fold top pair good kicker. Just call and blast it in his face time we hit. Was awful call on turn by him tho.

⁠@@Steven-f6o4o 65% 35 % is not a flip. To say this is one of the worst calls ever is insane. He has top pair top kicker on a dual flush draw board with no existing straights. The best possible 1 paired hand. Think of how many 1 pair or worse holdings he can be semi-bluffing with. K10, Q10, A10, J10, KJ, AJ, AX of diamonds, KX of spades and more. Also consider it’s not a 3 bet pot so knowing these guys 3bet 88, 99 with good frequency and AA, KK,AK with VERY highfrequency. He doesn’t have a lot of sets in his range. Hes really repping A9 and A8 which make sense bc they never 3 bet. But that is 2 hands. Compared to a boat load of semi bluffs he’s in very good shape against. But on this board strong made hands like AQ are pretty content to get it in knowing the opponent is going to need help A LOT of the time bc it’s not a 3 bet pot. The shove with 56 is much much worse than the opponents call. This guy should have just called being 300 BB deep, he has more than enough chips and implied odds to just call. Also, he can reasonably rep so many river cards, Any 10, J, Q, completes broadway straights, any diamond or spade completes flushes. also terrible bc hands like KX of spades, J10 of spades and AX of diamonds have you in terrible shape and are never folding. In the least results oriented way possible, this is a great call by the opponent.

@ it’s a terrible call. Not saying the shove is good but the call is terrible. and 88/99/A8/A9’will all be in range along with stinger combo draws. So yeh he is maybe slightly better than 50/50 versus bluff jams and against value almost dead. At 100bb deep sure, bet call turn. His mistake was reopening the turn. Aq will be pure check there. It’s a horrible bet call on turn.
