I feel you man, I don't fly very often but whenever I do I always want a calm amd quiet flight. I'm from Colombia but live in California and I was stuck in my country because of Covid until Spirit Airlines started doing humanitarian flights for those stranded outside the US. I took one of the flights with the misfortune of having a crying baby sitting right behind me even before pushback, it was a terrible experience, there were a lot of children there as well but all of them behaved, that crying baby made the flight very hard for everyone and even a flight attendant couldn't take it anymore. There should honestly be baby/kid free flights because as passengers it isn't fair we have to stand the consequences of bad parenting.

I feel bad for you. I travel a lot and baby's really annoy me too. A couple of months ago I went to Japan (for the first time). I bought a first class ticket (it was my birthday) and right behind me were two baby's.

That was so unusual that I had a baby/kid exactly right behind me both on the way out to California (six hour flight) and on the way back. Almost like someone was punking me. Hasn't happened since though. I am surprised though that how many people on You Tube demonized me for having the temerity to complain. I cannot deny that I'm an old man but I would like to think that I have the right not to be tortured for six hours by a whinny kid. I've since solved the problem though by wearing noise cancelling Bose headphones. No problem any more except for COVID restricted travel.

@@Fieldon I know, people don't imagine themselves in your position. They just think how you're fussing over something small, but it's not small. The airlines aren't any better. They don't care about the comfort of the passenger, they only want the money.

By the way, I always exit a restaurant too when there is a whinny kid nearby. I don't pay high restaurant prices because some cheap parents don't want to pay a babysitter.

Is this what they do just before they begin their flight to South America for the winter? I just noticed them flying outside around and around and wondered why. I'm located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and it's Aug. 3, 2020. In what part of the country was this video taken? We have a tropical storm on the way so I guess they decided to "get out of Dodge." :-) Thanks for sharing!

I could handle an hour, or maybe two hours but the WHOLE six hour flight in the seat RIGHT behind me. Then on the flight back I had ANOTHER whiny kid on the seat RIGHT behind me. What are the odds. I was suspicious someone had set me up for one of those TV shows. It was just too uncanny that I had the whinny crying kid on the way out and back (girl on the way out and little boy on the way back).
