Indeed Wajid, historically peacemakers have been rejected, some assassinated (MLK) And yes, RD, it stems from a greedy military complex. NONE of this however shall halt our mission nor intimidate us A-L-L speaking UP & OUT 🗣 ☮️

Fields of gold is a gorgeous song. I first heard it being sung by a young lady who had been diagnosed with cancer. Her friends made an lp and videos of her performing at a nightclub.

What a magnificent discussion and great memories. I was 19 when I saw Bob Marley in Auckland. I had a wonderful discussion in Harare with a friend from the Pan African Congress describing when Bob came to Zimbabwe to celebrate its independence, I so wish OI had recorded that story, it was mythical in the telling, incredibly moving for me. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmnFZntni7Wqq9k&pp=ygUXYm9iIG1hcmxleSBueiB0b3VyIDE5Nzk%3D

Taking a moment to adhere to the music of life that surrounds us, takes us to a another level of inspiration, no matter the low. It lifts our spirits, increases the adrenalin, and melts the human heart to feel. There aren't too many things in this life that could take credit for the same. Good message and sounds! Thank you, my LinkedIn friend, Ms. Debra invited me. So, I'm now subscribed too! Smiles!

Thanks Rick for the initiative of creating Jazz for Peace. This is a strong and powerful tool that can bring sustainable peace around the world. It gives voices to the voiceless and connects you to the past, present and the future. The involvement of music and dance in peace building, conflict management, and reconciliation lead to building confidence, restoring lost hope, and socio-reintegration among the communities.

8.05pm, Italy. A beautiful mission of Peace and true human spirit and unity. And in a country that has known huge suffering. A Wonderful flowing Piano Solo, played with heart, with the ability to sing whilst playing! I liked very much when the lights come on and the rest of the Jazz ensemble begins, with "Stop and smell the Roses" and "leave your luggage on the doorstop". Thank you

Hi Carol! Rwanda was our very first trip to Africa in 2009 and Nigeria just a few months ago was our ninth trip. Heres video of Rwanda plus comments from the organization and an attendee: kzbin.info/www/bejne/paHPhqV5isiBp5o If Easter's Aid is an outstanding cause. please be sure to have them contact us so we can assist them to obtain our grant funding!!! Received: May 27, 2009 Hi Deb, The shows were great. (and) the people who were there had a super time. All the music was great, and JFP did a jam session with the local band, HolyJah Doves. The groups decided to jam impromptu, and everyone loved it!…it showed the cultures coming together, being harmonious, and uniting! Which everyone enjoyed. The 2nd night, for the VIP dinner, the room was booked solid. The hotel had to set up extra tables as people waited…so that was again really great! Thx, Mark, Ministry of Sports - Kigali, Rwanda Received: 6/04/2013 (as posted on “Great Nonprofits” Website). "I first experienced this amazing organization, their music, and their mission when they came to Rwanda in 2009 to perform and aid UNICEF to welcome my country back with the rest of the world after the devastation caused by genocide. Their two concerts were the hi-lite of our country's Amahoro Peace Week celebration. The publicity and awareness they created was worldwide and since then our country has thrived far beyond even our own lofty dreams and expectations from the Empowerment Tree that they have grown as part of their advocacy for each cause that they represent. It is my hope to someday be able to tell other outstanding causes about this important opportunity and significant Helpful Step Forward for their sustainable future." ~ Ella Magera - Kigali, Rwanda
