Some prog rock arseho1e described Siouxsie as a doughy goff chick! Every word he spoke was just wrong.

I actually found this 'cause of a photo titled: "Christmas in Florida be like..." featuring Santa and his alligators and it helped me to discover the story behind it as well. Very very cute! Thanks so much for posting the video!

Not bad at all...well done! The singer doesn't have Siouxsie's guile (impossibleto replicate...there is only one !), but c'mon, she gave it a good go there! 👋

Great video. 20-30 years ago, that water was literally full of every kind of colorful fish and sealife. Now, it is mostly dead. Around the world, this is the case. It's terribly sad to see. My son used to make friends with schools of colorful fish that were everywhere. We've killed nearly all of them.

Is that Scott on drums with a very different look than in the old days?
@jpcastrianni2 жыл бұрын
No, Scott retired from music when he quit Built To Spill. He sold his drums and is now a successful pastry chef.

I like the sound and I also think that these guys are talented, so on principle hats off. However, covering a song does not need you to copy also the movements and the look of somebody else, I find that self-insulting and inopportune.

This isn't just from a normal show where a band decided to ape Siouxie and the Banshees. It's from an annual fundraising event that King's Barcade in Raleigh, NC, puts on. Members of local original bands put together cover acts in which they perform as a well-known or cult-following band, never revealing who they will "be" until they take the stage. The whole point and draw of the fundraiser is to see local original artists appearing as bands from the past. Hope that explains!
