Its hard to believe Denny Laine is two years shy of eighty years of age. I'd be a liar if I said he sounds just like he did back in 1966. When people say things like that, one has to wonder if they can hear. Lol. However, for a person Laine's age, who is seated, accompanied by only a guitar, and singing a song that isn't easy to sing, he's holding his own. A pleasure.

I saw Eddie Arnold when he was 81 years old. His voice was the same as it was when he was 40. But his memory was pretty much fading fast. Denny Laine is mentally sharp, as far as I can tell. His voice is not the same, but I still love hearing him. I was born in 1960, so I grew up with some pretty great music.
