the Botanical gardens in the city are the old gardens. The real botanic gardens are at Mt Cootha around 7 klms from the city. They are much more extensive and feature gardens from all climate zones including a huge glass dome with tropical plants and amazing water features

Well i am a german so i can asure you everybody calls it drive thru ... Only our boomers call it drive in. At least in Bavaria

@@sethgoesdownunder well i have to admit that i was wrong. I looked at the sign and it said drive in. I have never heard somebody calling it that and i never paid attention to the sign so i was really surpriesed by it. But yeah it seems like the offical german name is drive in, shame on us.

there actually isnt many gigantic spiders as u would think, especially out in city areas. mainly huntsman spiders

I kind of hate our seasons tbh. I enjoy Summer Christmases but decorating everything with fake snowmen and fake snowflakes in 40 degree heat is a bit wack. Also most of our native trees are evergreen so you don't get pretty colours in Autumn. Winter is not that cold so you can easily swim all year round here in Sydney. But I would prefer to live somewhere it snows.

Yes our bread is trash. I can't deny it. FYI There is no such thing as toast bread in English. What you were holding is called sliced bread. It is only called toast once it comes out of the toaster. All my German friends make this error.
