I changed internet provider and now I am unable to connect my wireless Epson XP-6100 printer to my network and iMac computer. When I go to Network Connection setting, the Wi-Fi (Recommended) wireless option has a red x in the box and this prevents me from continuing. HELP!

I have a EPSON ET-2850 and finally figured out how to make the duplex work so I can avoid wasting paper. The settings in the computer have to match exactly to the settings in the printer. I mainly use legal and plain paper settings but have learned how to change if needed.

Oh my God....what a nightmare. I bought a Workforce WF 2960 a couple of months back. First it is not ideal that epson woudn't dispatch ink on a user basis, but you will have to get a subscription, second i have been trying to connect my printer since 2 month to my wifi but no avail. All the keys and ID are correct, the signal strength says it is connected but still it shows wifi not connected. Now that i have bought your so called readyPrint subscription, ink was installed andnow i cant even get basic print done. I must tell you Cannon was so much better and seamless to use. AVOID this AT ALL COST please. You will have to become a WIFI connectivity expert to get this done...just awful.....

@@epsonuk3868 Good evening, Nat, I realized it was me making a mistake. But I really hope you have an idea for this problem: Everything has worked perfectly with my p900 and printing before. But now I never get correct colors when printing anymore. There is a red/magentic color on every photo I print: I have: 1) checked printer firmware (newest), 2) I have downloaded latest driver from epson (macOS sequoia), when that did not make a difference I 3) recalibrated the screen, 4) redownloaded the icc profile from paper supplier homepage. Nothing of this changed that I always get a magenta hue so then I 5) reset the printer 6) deleted printer from macOS 7) reinstalled everything 8) I get the same result whether I print from Lightroom or Epson Print Layout. I am so frustrated and I hope you have a good idea to a solution. Please :) Best, Jon

I have a question regarding the print driver panel. In the printer options menu there is a color matching settings box, and although it is greyed out the "Epson Color Controls" box is ticked. Des this matter? All my other settings match the recommended settings in this view, ie correct profile for the paper I'm using and color management off. I'm assuming this color matching setting is not being used at all but I just want to make sure.

Thank you for your query regarding the print driver panel. When the "Epson Color Controls" box is ticked but greyed out, it indicates that the setting is currently inactive due to your selected profile or other configurations. In your case, if all your other settings align with the recommended options and you have the correct paper profile selected with colour management turned off, you can be assured that the greyed-out colour matching setting is not being applied to your print jobs.

What a ridiculous practice... Just let people print... It should be the simplest thing to do on a computer. I came into ownership of a second hand epson printer Workforce Pro WF-4820DWF with nearly full ink cartridges.. I have to print some crucial documents for tomorrow only to find that i cant print from a printer that has nearly full ink cartridges because of a stupid subscription thing essentially bricking a perfectly working printer. The crazy thing is it literally says "ready to print" on the app 😂 I now have to rush out in the morning and hope an internet cafe is open early.. Thanks Epson.. remind me never to buy one of your products new. Avoid. Wasteful, greedy and dumb practices..

They allow you to print test pages though directly on the printer... Giving you false hope that the printer is perfectly working and ready to print documents.. 😆 so you can print test documents with the printer but not your own documents 😂. Great thanks for that.

I just bought this printer a month ago and I discovered something reaally annoying and quite upsetting: even if you do NOT printer borderless, the printer tends to dump ink on certain positions in the overspray sponge (you can see clearly dark ink lines: use a q-tip to see how much ink is dumped....terrible). Now the P900 overspray sponge is a seperate entitiy and not linked with the waste ink tank, unlike the P800, where the overspray sponge is attached to a small canal that has a slight slope towards the waste ink tank: so any ink dropped onto this the ink will drop onto the waste ink tank on the right lower part of the printer. The P900 overspray sponge does not: So instead of moving the print head all the way to the right side to dump the ink of intermediate cleaning cycles it tends to dump it on the overspray sponge too. Now those who do not want to have their overspray sponge to be soaked with ink and deliberately choose NOT to printer borderless will be deceived. I am in contact now with several people around the world to address this thing (planned obsolescence) to force Epson to issue a new firmware where the print head moves completely to the capping station where it can dump its ink during (intermediate) cleaning cycles, so the ink can be sucked into the waste ink tank and let the overspray sponge to be immaculate as possible. I have contacted Epson recently and I hope to get an answer about this.
