2007 Polo GTI both were 10mm and no retaining clip on the top arm. It has a platic fold down tab, no need to shave it down, just apply a bit of force and it clicks into position.

Hey I have a 2008 polo 9n 1.2 three door and I was just wondering if you have any recommendations where I can get some honeycomb grills top and bottom set ps I have fog lights on bottom any links to recommendations would be greatly appreciated thank you for the help

I would say Ebay or online your best bet, or even Facebook 9n3 groups or marketplace. Honeycomb grills are definitely a nice upgrade 👌

Yes for the pd100 and pd130s it would. Should be the same as mine. Just need to be aware of the different size holes on the new bushes that may need modification like mine did.

Yeah the mk5 wheel and buttons is annoyingly complex. However is it possible, one of the guys on Tom's video has commented on how he's done it. Might try it myself as well in the future 👌

Hey mate, for the upper shifter arm did it never have the metal retaining clip at the end? Just had a look and mine doesn't have one either. Might have to do what you did with the bolt through the plastic...

No mine didn't have the metal retaining clip annoyingly. Not sure the 1.4s have them on the upper one. The 1.8gti's do I think. So yeah this was my best solution to keep it secure.
