Oh sugar. I have the same issue with veins... I tell the nurses not to even bother with the arm... any med or blood draw usually just comes from my hand. (Which of course leads to yucky bruises for a week) But its nicer than all that poking. Plus when you are pregnant, that added stress can cause issues. You know your body... They need to HEAR YOU. I had considered the quarterly toolkit and thought I would use them alongside a journal so I can use the prompts over and over but keep all of the details for 1 yr in a notebook. I ended up skipping it this season... but it was a good plan so I thought I'd share :)

We do trunk or treats in l.a. its just a safer way to trick or treat with littles. Theyre generally for kids up to 10... i think next year when V is 11 she will opt out of them and just want to trick or treat.

I agree about the makse covers... i do like them being 2 sided... and it was nice that they decided to launch old faves too... so you can buy a planner and one cover and have 4 options...

I tried to find those same PP stickers, and I think they must have recently changed them because they looked like a different style. Those older ones are so much better for the style I'm using this upcoming year.

The jaw pain sounds like you were clenching when you were working on the masters stuff. I have to make a conscious effort to leave space between my teeth... jaw pain is the worst! Praying so hard for you. I found out I was pregnant 10 days after losing my dad. I started bleeding the day after his funeral. My original 1st prenatal appointment ended up being an ultrasound appointment to make sure I passed everything. It's incredibly heartbreaking, no matter how long you knew about it. Praying that you can continue to find some sense of peace ❤️ I like to believe that even though my dad can't be here with his other grandchildren, he's taking care of this one. Take all the time you need to process and grieve, and give yourself permission to feel all the things that come along with it. Thinking of you ❤️ Sorry that was so rambled.

I think the laminated pages are weird but otherwise the amazon choice seems better suited. I wish the Simplified team sold days of the week stickers in 52 week packs ... dated and undated! That would make your redating process easier and still feel cohesive. I'm a little worried about the standard notebook coil lasting a whole year though...

I teach history in 7th and 8th with 2 sections of regular 7 and 2 sections of sheltered (Spanish only) next year. I think this planner will help me immensely aside from just using my EC daily duo for personal

That color coded schedule makes my organizational geeky heart so happy! I totally understand the struggle of not being completely sure what planner you should be in. With the changes EC made to the Daily Duo with the recent launch it finally satisfies exactly what I need, so I grabbed the Duo in 7x9. There will be things I miss about using an hourly when it comes to stickering, but I really want to be able to have my life (other than my school plans) in one planner because once my weekly is set up I don't look at it anymore. So in watching all of the planning videos I'm scared of getting FOMO yet again without having a weekly, but that's just really not what my brain needs when it comes to planning. If I really need to look at an hourly view for a week here and there I can just print out the weekly planning sheet from Plan with Laken. I've gotten better with dealing with FOMO, though, now that I've switched to using only printable sticker kits unless I can get the stickers from a Canadian shop with shipping less than $5 because getting stickers shipped from the USA was ridiculously expensive for me. I do feel like it's important to stick with what's working for you once you are able to find it, at least for myself. Woosh, this was a really long comment, ha ha.

Really enjoyed this video. I think the Cabana Pinstripe is gorgeous. I am trying to decide between that one & the Birdies. I bought both mini notebooks to help me decide. I didn't realize the pink boxes were for Sweet 16. I love the font changes. Thanks for the tip on highlighting 1st and writing 2nd.

Omg an hourly? I feel like the time stamps would just mock me 24-7. I think I paid 66 for my first EC planner 13 years ago... and there were no customizations back then lol. Fancy planners are expensive. I wish we could've got the layout booklet though because it would be fun to practically test out the diff layouts

Bored Teachers are so hilarious! I've mostly just been busy at my job that I started at the end of January. I'm a part-time EA on a Hutterite colony and it is the best! I've never gotten into WoW but I do play Dungeons & Dragons with my husband and our friends. It's a lot of fun and involves a lot of collaborative story creation.

30 more days! Whaaaaaa? That's gonna fly by! I heard Sierra say on weeks that she doesn't do actions she writes in a motivating mantra... and just repeats it to herself all week ❤ that's another way to keep the motivational quotes top of mind every week ❤
