Thanks again for the video. I made one this week with one change because the hardware store was out of 45 degree bends. But I had a piece of 1.25 inch pipe laying around so I cut it to fit into the 90 degree bend and glued it on. I just knocked one of these out in less than 10 minutes. Mine is 3-in-1, that is I cut the long piece and each of the stabilizer legs to different lengths so I can accommodate all three of my poles. You can’t make 4 of them for $5. Let’s be real. That one was $20
@BikesAndBites101Ай бұрын
@@cowbway8462 buddy, I don't know where you shop, but I am 100% literal about the prices, give or take a buck.
@BikesAndBites101Ай бұрын
I actually just looked up the prices from Lowe's and did the math. Each individual setup now costs $5.57. 1" diameter Schedule 40 PVC (x1) 10' pipe = $7.97 (x4) 90° joint = $5.16 (x4) 45° joint = $6.60 (x4) T junction = $10.12 Total = $22.26 You can make 4 sets per 10' pipe so: $22.26/4 = $5.565 $5.57 + tax per rig. My original claim for them being under $5 was for when I first built these 3+ years ago

@@riverratfishing that's how I've been getting strikes, I know these are popular in cold water too. In those situations, especially if you're in a boat, you're supposed to rapidly hop them off the bottom and let them flutter back down, but the areas in fish are mostly weedy bottom so I don't usually hop them.
