Your condenser is dirty. clean it / wash it with hot water froma garden hose & your ice production will go up & it will work better. Remove all ice from the bin before doing so as dirty water may get the bin. if u have alot of ice in bin. Double line a clean trash can with trash bags and transfer ice to trash cans. Store trash cans in a walk in freezer to preserve ice. Condenser can be Vacuumed with a Brush head , Blown backwards with air , Washed with hot water & a Degreaser if greasy. , wash with hot water , Degreaser for best results. can also be scrubbed with stiff brush vertically not against fin direction. un plug ice machine from power source so u don't get shocked.

Congrats ! Un-Plug the ice machine from the wall or turn off the circuit breaker to do this next thing. Most likely the harvest assist motor is not turning all the way & completing its cycle. Could be loose from the wall or a wire fell off also. the Micro switch has to rest in the dip in the brass turning part to go back into freeze cycle. the Harvest assist motor assy - is located behind the evaporator plate in the center. thier is a probe that pushes the ice off in the center of the evaporator. You will notice a 1/4" hole in the center of the evaporator plate with a Probe in it . kind of like a pencil ✏️ sized probe. The harvest assist motor assy & clutch must be secure to the back wall & the clutch on the top can be turned by hand in one direction only. You can try turning it in both directions with your hand gently to see which way it will turn. turn it so the micro switch is the low part of the brass clutch. then --- Plug the ice machine back into the wall or turn on the circuit breaker. Then --- switch machine to ice mode and see if it makes more than one batch. also --- make sure the front cover top right arm is under the " Secret lever " / Micro switch to Make ice machine start a freeze cycle. see video --- " secret lever " See playlist --- ice o matic.

@brnmcc01Ай бұрын
@@OcRefrig Yes and you're absolutely correct. I think where you live in OC, electricity is like what, 33 cents a kw/hr? And it might not make much sense for you there at that price. At my house it's roughly 14-16 cents +/-, it's a dumb 3 tiered system so the more you use, the less the it is, like whatever you use over 1000 kw/hr's in a month is "only" 9.9 cents. I put only in quotes because that's still kind of high, prices in places with hydropower like Columbia river valley in Washington state, or in Idaho, prices are more like in the 6 cents range. Or at least were a few years ago. So far I've been paying about $60 maybe $80 a month more on the electric bill. I figured out my cost per mile with the 2023 Ford E-Transit at roughly 7.6 cents per mile. At current gas prices at Kroger (which is the same as Ralphs where your are, same fuel points stuff, same parent company, same good groceries) is $3.50 per gallon I would be paying 29 cents a mile based on 12 mpg. The van current average over 7000 miles including last winter is 2.1 miles per kilowatt hour. So if your electricity cost was 31 cents a kw/hr, it would cost 14.76 cents per mile, but at $4.989 per gallon at 12 mpg you'd be paying over 41 cents a mile. Or figured another way, I would have to find a full size van that got at least 73 miles per gallon to match what it costs to run the EV. Probably not going to happen, or it would be nowhere near as powerful. This thing accelerates pretty quick and very smooth doesn't take long at all to hit 80 mph from 0!. 379 lbs/ft of torque at 0 rpm makes a difference.
@brnmcc01Ай бұрын
@@OcRefrig Liking it so far. Only some minor glitches with the Sync 4 system, turns out it's just a software issue, and have to wait for an update. Other people have had problems with the navigation map freezing but a lot of people just use their phone or use the maps with Apple car play. I just prefer to use the built in navigation on the screen, easier to use than pulling out the phone. In one of the "updates" they did in June, they apparently changed something in how the cellular modem interacts with the TCM and APIM modules, which are the telematics control module and the application programming interface module I think. Not a big deal it's better now that it was, and it doesn't happen every day. Other than that, I'm loving the HVAC system with the variable speed compressor. It runs kind of like a mini-split with variable speed compressor and condenser fan motors. Instead of like a normal car/truck with a compressor with a clutch that cycles on and off, this one just maintains the right compressor speed to keep the vent discharge temps right at 40 degrees. Instead of getting very cold, then clutch cycles off, then it gets damp and humid, then clutch cycles back on etc, I never did like that constant changing temperature in my car, and it getting warmer sitting in slow traffic. This one because there's no engine, you get full blast A/C performance even sitting still, and on a 104 degree day it's very nice to just hop in and take a quick break in the air conditioning without having to start something up, and waste gas. You can turn this one down to "LO" and fan speed to 6-7 and it feels like air from a walkin cooler coil coming out of the vents, like makes your eyes water cold. Reminds me of this old car one of my friends Dad had back in the day, I think an old Ford LTD or something had one of those old style York compressors with Fords POA valve. I'm not sure how those worked exactly but the compressor also didn't cycle off, there was some kind of unloader valve and that POA valve would keep the coil at like a constant 31-32 degrees like right at the knife edge of freezing up, and sometimes if you turned the fan on full speed it would literally blow tiny snowflakes out of the dashboard vents!

Frequency reading during the brown out would of been interesting. I am guessing one of the 3 phase high or medium voltage lines was out and the reaming 2 would be back feeding the 3rd phase (or first or second phase, depending which phase was out). It has happened to me on our 240 Volt system, I was getting 170 volts but it would even drop as low as 140 volts depending on the imbalance. 120 volts with a phase out on the high side of a transformer would be about 120 volts / 1.414 (square root of 2) = approx 84.8, and you were seeing 70 volts so a lot of appliances were pulling that line down to 70 volts from 85. I would imagine a lot of switch mode power supplies will just work at 70 volts at there lower limit. (50 volts below normal), So I would presume that some SMPS will turn on and off at that exact point as the voltage drops or rises, or would draw the maximum current they can at that lower voltage constantly.
@OcRefrigАй бұрын
Yea, i wish i would have pushed that button at that time too. You can guarantee next power outage / Brown out i'll check the frequency for sure.

50% is just the duty cycle. Normal AC power is 50%. That % is for measuring square wave waveforms, like checking the duty cycle of an electronic TXV or fuel injector or things like that that are controlled by PWM. That was quite the brownout you had going on there. Same thing happened at one of my restaurants in that last power outage. The power to that strip mall according to the power company on the 3rd day of the power outage was still supposed to be off. Yet all the meters on the building were blank, but L1 had 120v, L2 120v, and line 3 like 50 volts. So a lot of equipment was getting single phased, I had to turn off the ice machine breaker, it didn't like running on 160 volts, it survived it was single phase equipement, I turned off the HVAC breakers and anything else that wasn't working right. The tankless water heater survived getting 50-65 volts to it, but lost a small 2 door prep table that was nearly out of gas anyway, burned out the compressor in the beer keg cooler, and lost a 1 door reach in freezer. I replaced the keg cooler with a new one which works great, everything else is still doing ok. Had to replace the plug and outlet to a Taylor frozen drink machine, it got really melted. The small 1 door upright freezer didn't have much stuff in it, and wasn't really enough room for it where it was anyways, so they just pushed it out the back door, and someone picked it up for scrap. Those long term brownouts can do some damage, especially for 3 phase motors.
