Used to visit the railroad museum and old town Sacramento often, but with parking and prices, it almost seems like the city is making visitation as difficult as possible. Maybe when they get a real mayor. On the other hand, loved your video!!

They have great holiday meals and are a good price. I like the Sizzler in Yuba City, CA. It's right off the 99 highway going towards Chico, CA.

Maiden name is Jo Ann Townsend. My family lived across the street on Harvard and we owned the malt shop and worked in from 1958 to 60. The state took it to build jr. college building. Changed the street name. Lived there from 1944 to 1960. Many happy memories.

Hey, great video! I like your style of production.
I wonder when the parents put the trunk in the wall? May died in September 1879. It was not put into the wall after May's death due to the seance letters that was packed inside. Also, there was a token of President Garfield in the trunk, who won the Presidency in 1880 and was assassinated in September 1881. So it could have been put in the wall after Garfield's assassination either in late 1881 or sometime in 1882. May and Garfield both died in the month of September. Garfield died on September 19th and May on September 21st, two years and two days apart. That may have had an impact on May's parents for them to put the Garfield token in the trunk. This was the 2nd assassination of a U.S. President since Abraham Lincoln 16 years prior. If that trunk was never put in that wall, or that part of the house never renovated, May Woolsey and her life would have never been known, and her grave would be just another grave marker in the Sacramento City cemetery that people would walk by and never even notice or who she was in life.
