Any chance you’ll ever consider giving your courses a refresh in the near future? Love the current course and use it frequently as part of my routine but really would be cool to see Richard on the course 👀 unless you’re just not sharing and keeping him close 😂😂😂

Why would copper move so much based on tariff news?
@alanpatrickreilly93215 күн бұрын
Would it not be because copper is a major import to the US? - "AI Overview Learn more The United States imports copper in the form of refined copper, copper wire, and copper ores and concentrates. The amount of copper the US imports varies by year and type of copper. Refined copper In 2022, the US imported $6.16 billion in refined copper, making it the second largest importer in the world. The main sources of refined copper imports were Chile, Canada, Mexico, Peru, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Copper wire In 2022, the US imported $2.21 billion in copper wire. The main sources of copper wire imports were Canada, Mexico, Peru, Germany, and Japan. Copper ores and concentrates In 2023, the US imported copper ores and concentrates from Canada, Hungary, Mexico, Japan, and other Asian countries. " - GOOGLE

Nothing. You just talk and talk and don't say anything, "Just kind of did this" and "we say this kind of relative accumulation and waiting...." nothing. No actionable lessons here. Jesus, teach something instead of just rambling. The first 4 minutes are zero content. There is too much competition out here for people to wade through this useless rambling to get to the meat of the video. Stop wasting time and get to it.

When I'm feeling manipulated and bullied by market makers, it really helps to keep in mind the actual point of the market (as you said): to hedge real-world interests. Yes, there is an actual and vital purpose to the market. not just to make me money. Often times I feel contempt for the market and big-money players who manipulate me because I completely forget the actual point of the futures market, which is to determine value and mitigate risk for massive industries. I'm just a raindrop in an ocean, and I need to remember to respect the strength of the tide. Its too easy to believe "it's me against them" when, in reality, there is no "me" in the equation. It's just them and their purpose: mitigating their massive interests. Thanks for the reminder!

Great talk. I was looking at how the market moved pre covid and post covid and even 2023, and how the notional value has changed, and how market regemes change. This is an insightful video on these thoughts.

Practicing this thing from 3 months now, feel like I got an edge, another thing; like i have something pre-set everything so i found myself “no overtrading” and doesn’t hurt if market moves 200 ticks, in front of me. Thank you so much Richard!❤

With the ever increasing complexity of the stop runs, I have been taking profit half-way to my original target often lately. I got tired of so many trades going positive then still finding my stop.

I'm still trying to work my way around volatile markets and I realised, because of how fast it is, it can be difficult to read how buyers and sellers are interacting on the price ladder. It's easier to read on footprint and I just wanted to see if this is something you'd recommend? I screen record the price ladder and i'm playing it on half speed and it's still hard to catch. Another question: how significant are bounces in such market conditions?
